ULT9VLJPBP
Ultralife 9V lithium battery U9VLJP-BP (U9VL-J-P) 1200mAh (10-year battery in blister pack)

The Ultralife U9VLJP-BP (technically U9VL-J-P) is the world's best-known and most widely used 9V lithium battery for long-term applications. It is the modern successor to the classic alkaline 9V blocks and outperforms them in every respect: it lasts up to 5 times longerThe Ultralife lithium round cell is lighter and works reliably even at extreme temperatures. It is particularly well known as a "10-year battery" for high-quality smoke detectors, as it often does not need to be replaced for the entire service life of the detector. It is supplied in practical individual blister packs (BP = Blister Pack).Highlights at a glance10 years safety: Enables a service life of up to 10 years in many ion smoke detectors, making the annoying nightly "beeping" due to low batteries a thing of the past.Highest capacity (1200mAh): With 1200 mAh, offers almost twice the capacity of a high-quality alkaline battery (approx. 500-600 mAh) and four times that of a zinc-carbon battery.Flat discharge curve: Keeps the operating voltage constantly high for a long time. While alkaline batteries lose voltage linearly, the Ultralife delivers full power until shortly before the end.Ultralight: Weighs approx. 37 g, around 25 % less than a conventional 9V block (approx. 45-50 g), making it ideal for portable devices such as wireless microphones or medical monitors.Extreme temperature range: Can be used from -20 °C to +60 °C - perfect for applications in cold garages, storage rooms or outdoors (e.g. electronic door locks).Long shelf life: Thanks to lithium technology, it has an extremely low self-discharge rate and can easily be stored for 10 years before being used. The standard for smoke detectors & medical technologyThe Ultralife U9VLJP is the Original equipment battery for almost all major manufacturers of high-quality smoke alarms. It is also extremely popular in the Medical technology (infusion pumps, patient monitors), in the Safety technology (alarm systems, motion detectors), for Musicians (active pickups for guitars, radio links) and in industry for data loggers. Features ModelUltralife U9VL-J-P (U9VLJP-BP blister) ApplicationSmoke detector (10-year use), medical, audio, security TechnologyLithium manganese dioxide (Li-MnO2) primary cell Voltage9 V (nominal) - Voltage stable Capacity1200 mAh (twice as much as alkaline) Shelf life10 years (low self-discharge) Dimensions (L x W x H in mm)48.5 x 26.5 x 17.5 (standard 9V block / E-block / 6LR61) ConnectionSnap connection (miniature push button) Temperature range-20°C to +60°C (can also be used in cold conditions) Special featuresThe "10-year battery", very light, no leakage Weight (g)approx. 37 (Significantly lighter than alkaline ~45g) FAQs for Ultralife U9VLJP-BPIs this battery rechargeable? No! This is the most common mistake. It is a Lithium primary battery (disposable). Never attempt to charge this battery in a charger (risk of explosion). If you are looking for rechargeable 9V batteries, you need "NiMH" or "Li-Ion batteries" (often 8.4V or 7.4V).Does it fit mechanically in every device?Yes, the U9VLJP corresponds to the standard size ANSI 1604. In very rare cases with very old devices, the battery compartment can be extremely tightly tolerated, as alkaline batteries have rounded corners, while the Ultralife is somewhat more "angular" (see picture). However, it fits perfectly in 99.9 % of modern devices (smoke detectors, multimeters, toys). Why is it so much more expensive than an alkaline battery? The higher price is offset by the service life. A Ultralife lasts up to 5 times longer than a standard battery.Calculation example: If you change an alkaline battery (approx. €2) in a smoke detector every 1-2 years and have to fetch a ladder each time, this costs approx. €10-20 plus labour over 10 years. A Ultralife (approx. €8-10) often lasts the full 10 years. You save money and effort. How do I dispose of the battery? As this is a lithium battery, please cover both poles with a strip of adhesive tape before disposal (risk of short circuit in the collection container). Then hand them in at an official battery collection point (supermarket or recycling centre).

BP = Blister Pack (individually packaged for retail sale). 10 (or FP) = Foil Pack / Bulk (10 pieces packed together for industry). The U9VLJP10 is more environmentally friendly (less plastic waste) and usually cheaper per item.Is "round cell" the correct term?Your enquiry mentioned "round cell", which is a common misunderstanding. The U9VL is a 9V block (rectangular, prismatic). Internally, it consists of three flat cells (not round cells), but the design is the classic "E-block". Ultralife also manufactures real round cells (like the ER14505 AA), but the designation U9VL always refers to the 9V block. What happens if I store the batteries?Almost nothing. That is the great advantage of lithium. You can buy this 10-pack, take out 2 batteries and put the remaining 8 in a cupboard for 8 years. If you need the remaining 8 batteries then, they will still have almost 100% of their charge. Store them ideally in a cool, dry place. Are the batteries packed short-circuit-proof?As a rule, the batteries in the pack of 10 are supplied so that the terminals cannot touch each other (e.g. by a plastic cap on each battery or a tightly fitting foil). Important: If you open the pack and put loose batteries in a drawer, be sure to tape the terminals or leave the protective cap on. If two 9V blocks touch at the terminals, a short circuit immediately occurs (fire hazard!).

BELA98L00310012
CNC battery A98L-0031-0012 for Fanuc - 3V lithium backup battery (type 2/3A)

The Fanuc A98L-0031-0012 is probably the most commonly installed backup battery in the world of CNC machining. It is a special 3.0-volt lithium cell of size 2/3 A, which serves in thousands of Fanuc controls (series i) and robot controllers as life insurance for memory. This battery supplies the SRAM memory and the absolute encoder (depending on the place of installation) with power when the machine is switched off. It stores machine parameters, zero points, tool corrections and CNC programmes. As the cell often serves for many years, its replacement is frequently forgotten – until the critical "BAT" alarm appears.Highlights at a glanceOriginal Fanuc specification: The part number A98L-0031-0012 designates the specific cell (often a Panasonic or Sanyo BR-2/3A), which is contained in the Fanuc order number A02B-0200-K102.High energy density (lithium): Uses lithium poly-carbon monofluoride chemistry (Li-CFn). This is not designed for high currents, but for extreme longevity and stable voltage over the years – ideal for memory backup.Format 2/3 A: A compact cylindrical cell (approx. 33.5 mm long) that is shorter than a standard AA battery, but thicker than a CR123A.Ready to plug-in installation: Delivered including cable and the special black Fanuc system connector (JAE 2-pin with locking nose). No soldering required.Long service life: Typically offers an operating period of 3 to 5 years in the CNC machine. The self-discharge is so low that it can be stored for up to 10 years.Critical data protection: Prevents the loss of system parameters (parity error), which on older machines would often mean manual re-entry of hundreds of parameters.Areas of applicationThis battery is found in a very wide range of Fanuc devices:CNC controls: Fanuc Series 0i (0i-Mate, 0i-B, 0i-C, 0i-D), 16i, 18i, 21i, 30i, 31i, 32i.Robot controller: Fanuc R-J3iB, R-30iA Mate (often in the controller housing or in the base of the robot).Power Mate: Series iD, iH.Position: Usually directly behind the screen (LCD) or in a small compartment on the CNC unit inside the control cabinet.Installation & safety instructionsGolden rule: Replace the battery only when control is switched on (Power ON). The system is buffered for only approx. 20 minutes by a capacitor when switched off. If you remove the old battery and have trouble inserting the new one (e.g. connector stuck), the memory is cleared. With the machine switched on, this risk does not exist.Attention high voltage: Work carefully in the control cabinet. Do not touch any live parts near the control.Reset: After the change, the error message ("BAT" flashes or alarm) usually does not have to be acknowledged manually; it disappears as soon as the voltage is > 2.8V again.Connector coding: Pay attention to the "nose" on the black connector. There are similar batteries with brown connectors (different coding) which do not fit mechanically. Do not use force. Features Model / Fanuc Ref.CNC battery A98L-0031-0012 Chemical system**Lithium poly-carbon monofluoride** (BR series) Voltage**3.0 V** Capacityapprox. **1200 mAh** (standard for 2/3A) Format (cell)**2/3 A** (Cylindrical, short and wide) Dimensions (cell)approx. 17 mm Ø x 33.5 mm height Connection**JAE connector 2-pole** (coded for Fanuc board) CompatibilityFanuc Series **0-C, 0-D**, Series **15-B**, 16/18/21 (older revisions), Power Mate iH TypeNon-rechargeable / primary cell Weightapprox. 18 g  FAQs for A98L-0031-0012What is the difference to A98L-0031-0025?That is a big difference!A98L-0031-0012: Small cell (2/3 A), black connector. Mostly for the CNC control (display).A98L-0031-0025: Large cell (type C or D in housing), grey box. Mostly for the servo amplifier (buffering of the axis position). Do not mix these up, they do not fit mechanically. My screen displays "APC Alarm 307" – is this the battery?Probably not. APC alarms (Absolute Pulse Coder) usually refer to the batteries in the axis amplifiers (servo drives), not to the battery in the CNC unit. The battery of the CNC unit usually causes system alarms or a flashing "BAT" in the status line. Check your machine's manual. Why is the battery so expensive compared to supermarket batteries? This is an industrial lithium cell (not alkaline manganese). It has a special chemistry for long-term stability (10 year shelf life) and a very wide temperature range (-40 to +85 degrees), to avoid failure in a hot control cabinet. A standard battery would quickly fail here and cause expensive damage.

BELA02B0200K102
CNC battery A02B-0200-K102 for Fanuc 16i, 18i, 21i & Le Blonde 77

The CNC battery A02B-0200-K102 (often identified by the cell part number A98L-0031-0012) is a specialised 3-volt lithium backup battery. With the machine powered on, the power supply provides the memory and the change is safe.Note the alarm: Replace the battery immediately if the display shows the message "BAT" is flashing or the alarm "Battery Low" (often alarm code APC 300 series or system alarm) appears. Do not wait until the next maintenance interval.Position: The battery is often located on the rear of the display unit (MDI/CRT Unit) under a small yellow or black cover. Features Model / Fanuc Ref.CNC battery A02B-0200-K102 (Fanuc) OEM reference (cell)**A98L-0031-0025** (often printed on the housing) Chemical system**Lithium poly-carbon monofluoride** (BR series) Voltage**3.0 V** Capacityapprox. **1200 mAh** Design**2/3 A** (Cylindrical, short) Dimensions (cell)approx. 17 mm Ø x 33.5 mm height Connection**JAE connector 2-pin** (special connector for Fanuc board) CompatibilityFanuc Series **16i, 18i, 21i**, Power Mate iD/iH, 0i-B TypeNon-rechargeable (Not rechargeable!)  FAQs for A02B-0200-K102Is this the battery for the drives (servos) or the controller? The A02B-0200-K102 (A98L-0031-0012) is primarily the battery for the CNC controller (memory backup). For the servo amplifier (absolute axis position) often other batteries are used (e.g. large mono D cells or the A98L-0031-0025 in the black box). Check exactly which alarm message you have ("System Battery" vs. "APC Battery").My battery has a brown connector, this one has a black one. Will this fit?Caution. The connector (JAE) has a mechanical coding (nose).A98L-0031-0012: Black connector (for i-series controllers).A98L-0031-0026 / -0028: Often brown or cream-coloured connector (for Beta drivers or older systems). Compare the nose on the connector exactly with your old part. Forcing it will damage the connection on the expensive CNC board. Can I use a standard CR123A battery? No. Although they look similar, photo batteries (CR123A) have different dimensions and do not have solder tags/connectors. DIY solutions with adhesive tape in vibration-rich CNC machines risk loose contacts and data loss.

Necessary for GSM/LTE modules or motors. If you insert the UHE into a GPS tracker with GSM modem, the voltage will collapse while sending. Can I use it as a replacement for normal AA batteries?Warning: No! Normal AA batteries have 1.5 volts. This battery has 3.6 volts. That's more than double! If you put this in a remote control, a wall clock or a toy, you'll destroy the device immediately. It may fit mechanically, but it is not electrically compatible. What is passivation? When these batteries are stored for a long time, a protective layer forms inside (passivation). This is good for durability (no self-discharge), but when you put the battery into operation, the voltage may be low for a few milliseconds before it jumps to 3.6 V. Some sensitive devices then incorrectly display "battery low".Is the battery rechargeable? No. It is a primary battery. Rechargeable lithium batteries in AA size usually have 3.7 V (Li-Ion 14500) or 1.2 V (NiMH) and a completely different chemistry. This cell must not be charged.

ULTUHRER14505H
Ultralife High Power Lithium Battery UHR-ER14505-H 3,6V 2,0Ah (AA Spiral Cell)

The Ultralife UHR-ER14505-H is an industrial high-performance primary battery in the widely used AA format (Mignon). Unlike standard lithium cells (bobbin type), which are optimised for low currents, this model utilises the spiral cell technology (wound electrodes). This makes it a small powerhouse that can continuously deliver high currents and strong pulses without collapse. It is the ideal power source for compact devices that need to transmit (GSM/LoRaWAN) or drive motors.Highlights at a glanceSpiral cell technology: The wound arrangement of the electrodes (similar to a roll) maximises the surface area, enabling extremely high discharge currents (up to 1000 mA continuous).Maximum pulse performance: Delivers short current pulses of up to 2000 mA, which is essential for modern radio modules in smart home or tracking devices.Standard AA format: Measuring 14.5 x 50.5 mm, it is mechanically equivalent to a normal AA battery, but delivers 3.6 volts.High safety: Features a hermetically sealed housing, a safety valve and often an integrated PTC resistor to protect against short circuit.Extreme temperature range: Can be used from freezing -55°C up to hot +85°C, ideal for outdoor sensors.Long shelf life: The self-discharge is extremely low (< 2% per year), so the battery remains storable for over 10 years. The powerhouse for IoT & sensorsWhile normal lithium AA cells (such as Saft LS14500) quickly reach their limits at high currents, this is where the UHR-ER14505-H excels. It is the perfect choice for intelligent gas and water meters (Smart Metering), GPS trackers, wireless security sensors (PIR), medical hand tools and professional torches that require 3.6V lithium cells. Features ModelUltralife UHR-ER14505-H (High Rate Spiral) ApplicationIoT, wireless sensors, smart metering (high pulse currents) TechnologyLithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) - Spiral cell design Voltage3.6 V Capacity2.0 Ah (nominal) - optimised for performance Max. discharge currentapprox. 1000 mA (pulse) / 500 mA (continuous) Dimensions (L x W x H in mm)14.5 x 50.5 (AA / Mignon size) ConnectionStandard (positive pole nipple-shaped) or solder tags Temperature range-55°C to +85°C Special featuresSpiral design for high performance, long shelf life (>10 years) Weight (g)approx. 19  FAQs about Ultralife UHR-ER14505-HWhat is the difference compared to the "normal" ER14505 (Bobbin)? The difference is huge in terms of power output.Bobbin type (e.g. Saft LS14500): Often has more capacity (approx. 2.6 Ah), but can only deliver very little current (a few mA). Ideal for memory retention.Spiral type (UHR-ER14505-H): Has slightly less capacity (approx. 2.0 Ah), but can deliver 20 times the current. If your device uses GSM, LTE or Wi-Fi, you absolutely need the spiral version (UHR), because the bobbin cell would collapse during data transmission. Can I use this battery instead of a normal AA battery?Absolutely not! A normal AA battery (alkaline) has 1.5 volts. This lithium battery has 3.6 volts. If you put this battery in a remote control, a clock or an ordinary toy, the electronics will be destroyed immediately due to the overvoltage. Use it only in devices that are explicitly designed for "3.6V Lithium AA".Is the battery rechargeable? No. It is a primary battery (single use). Never recharge it (risk of explosion). For rechargeable lithium batteries in AA size you need to look for "Li-Ion 14500" (3.7V), but this is a different technology.Do I need a safety margin when soldering? If you buy the version with solder tags: never solder directly to the battery can, only to the tags and as quickly as possible (max. 5 seconds). Excessive heat can damage the internal seals or separator and cause leakage.

ULTUHEER26500H
Ultralife High Energy Lithium Battery UHE-ER26500-H 3,6V 8,8Ah (C-Cell Bobbin)

Maximum capacity (8.8 Ah), but only suitable for low currents.UHR (Spiral): "High Rate" (Spiral). Slightly less capacity (approx. 6-7 Ah), but suitable for high currents (e.g. radio transmission, motors). If your device only measures and stores, use the UHE. If it transmits or works mechanically, check whether the current demand will overload the UHE.Can I use this battery instead of a normal C-cell (Baby)?Warning: No! A normal C-cell battery (alkaline) has 1.5 Volts. This industrial battery has 3.6 Volts. If you insert this battery into a toy, standard torch or radio, the device will be damaged by overvoltage. It is designed exclusively for specialised industrial equipment. Why do I measure less voltage on a new battery? This is the passivation effect. Lithium thionyl chloride batteries form an internal protective layer during storage, preventing self-discharge. When measuring voltage with a high-impedance multimeter, it may initially read low or drop immediately under load. The battery must be "depassivated" (short-term load) for full voltage to be available. Is the battery rechargeable? No, it is a primary battery. Recharging may cause gas formation, leakage or explosion.

ULTUHEER34615H
Ultralife High Energy Lithium Battery UHE-ER34615-H 3,6V 19Ah (D-Cell Bobbin)

The Ultralife UHE-ER34615-H is a size D (mono) primary lithium battery optimised for maximum capacity. It belongs to the "High Energy" series (UHE) and uses the proven Bobbin technology (coil body construction). In contrast to the UHR series (spiral), which is built for high currents, the focus here is on an extremely high energy density. With an incredible 19 Ah capacity, it is a "long-distance runner", developed for applications that need to be supplied with low currents for 10 years or longer. Highlights at a glanceMaximum energy density: Thanks to the bobbin structure, it offers 19 Ah significantly more capacity than the high-current variant (14.5 Ah) and is therefore the leader in the D-size.Bobbin technology: The internal structure minimises inactive parts and maximises the amount of lithium, ideal for low discharge currents over very long periods.Extremely low self-discharge: Loses less than 2 % charge per year in storage (at 23°C), enabling operating times of up to 10-15 years.Wide temperature range: Reliable operation under extreme conditions from -55°C to +85°C.High voltage: Maintains the nominal voltage of 3.6 V almost constantly throughout the entire discharge period.Safety: Hermetically sealed stainless steel case and flame-retardant electrolyte ensure maximum safety in sensitive applications. The standard for smart metering & backupThe UHE-ER34615-H is the classic battery for applications that need to run "forever" without maintenance. It is perfectly suited to keep electronics in "sleep mode" alive for years. Features ModelUltralife UHE-ER34615-H (High Energy Bobbin) ApplicationLong-term supply, memory backup, sensors (low current) TechnologyLithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) - Bobbin Construction Voltage3.6 V Capacity19 Ah (Nominal) - Maximum energy density Max. discharge currentapprox. 200 mA (continuous) - Optimised for low currents Dimensions (L x W x H in mm)34.2 x 61.5 (size D / mono) ConnectionStandard (positive terminal nipple-shaped) or solder tags Temperature range-55°C to +85°C Special featuresBobbin construction, extremely low self-discharge (<1%/year), >10 years shelf life Weight (g)approx. 100  FAQs for Ultralife UHE-ER34615-HWhat is the difference to the UHR-ER34615 (Spiral)? This is the most important difference for your application!UHE (your battery): "High Energy" (Bobbin). Maximum capacity (19 Ah), but low current (max. 200 mA). Like a marathon runner.UHR (Spiral): "High Rate" (Spiral). Less capacity (14.5 Ah), but plenty of current (2000 mA). Like a sprinter. Do not use the UHE not for motors, pumps or GSM modules with frequent transmission – the voltage would drop (passivation effect). Why does the voltage drop at the beginning?Lithium thionyl chloride batteries (especially bobbin types like this) form a protective layer on the anode (passivation) during storage. This prevents self-discharge, but temporarily increases internal resistance. On first use, the voltage may briefly drop until the layer is "broken through" by the current flow. Can I use this battery instead of a normal mono battery (type D)?No, definitely not! Normal mono batteries (alkaline) have 1.5 volts. This industrial battery has 3.6 volts. If you insert this battery into a torch, radio or toy, the electronics will be instantly destroyed by the more than double voltage. Is the battery rechargeable? No. This is a non-rechargeable primary battery. Never charge it, never throw it into a fire, and do not open it by force. Please dispose of it only via official collection points for lithium batteries.

ULTUHRER34615H
Ultralife High Power Lithium Battery UHR-ER34615-H 3,6V 14,5Ah (D-Cell Spiral Cell)

The Ultralife UHR-ER34615-H is an extremely powerful primary lithium battery (lithium thionyl chloride / Li-SOCl2) in the standard size D (mono). In contrast to conventional "energy" cells (bobbin type), this model features a spiral construction (spiral cell). This special construction enormously increases the internal surface area of the electrodes, enabling the battery to deliver very high continuous currents and strong pulses. It is therefore the first choice for applications requiring short, high power peaks, such as radio transmitters, military equipment, or motor-operated valves.Highlights at a glanceSpiral Cell Technology: The wound electrode structure enables extremely high discharge currents (up to 2000 mA continuous), where standard lithium cells often fail at just a few mA.High capacity: Despite its performance-centric construction, it offers an impressive capacity of 14.5 Ah for long runtimes.Enormous pulse power: Delivers pulse currents up to 3000 mA (occasionally 4000 mA), ideal for GSM modules, alarm sirens, or pump motors.Extreme temperature range: Operates reliably from arctic -55 °C to hot +85 °C.Long shelf life: Thanks to the low self-discharge (< 2 % per year), the battery can be stored for 10 years and longer.Safety features: Equipped with a PTC (thermistor) for current limitation in short circuit conditions, as well as a safety valve and hermetic glass-to-metal seal. The power station for industry & militaryWhereas standard lithium D cells (bobbin type) are often only intended for memory backup or extremely low currents, the UHR-ER34615-H is a real workhorse. It is often used in GPS tracking systems, oceanographic buoys, military radios, smart meters with remote transmission, and medical devices (e.g. defibrillators, infusion pumps). It combines the longevity of lithium with the power of a high-current battery. Features ModelUltralife UHR-ER34615-H (High Rate Spiral) ApplicationHigh currents (smart metering, GPS tracking, wireless technology) TechnologyLithium-thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) - spiral cell design Voltage3.6 V Capacity14.5 Ah (nominal) Max. discharge currentapprox. 3.0 A (continuous) / 4.0 A (pulse) - high rate Dimensions (L x W x H in mm)34.2 x 61.5 (size D / mono) ConnectionStandard (positive pole nipple-shaped) or solder tags Temperature range-55°C to +85°C Special featuresSpiral construction for high performance, long shelf life (>10 years) Weight (g)approx. 105 FAQs for Ultralife UHR-ER34615-HWhat is the difference to the UHE-ER34615?This is the crucial difference!UHE-ER34615 (Energy / Bobbin): Has more capacity (19 Ah), but delivers only very little current (max. approx. 100-200 mA). Ideal for long-term applications with minimal consumption.UHR-ER34615 (Power / Spiral): Has slightly less capacity (14.5 Ah), but delivers an extremely high current (max. 2000-3000 mA). If your device moves motors or transmits (GSM/LTE), you absolutely need the UHR version (spiral). The UHE version would immediately collapse in voltage. Is this battery rechargeable? No. This is a primary lithium battery. Never attempt to charge this battery. There is an explosion hazard. Because of the high energy density, it should also not be forcibly opened or burned.Do I need a protection resistor? The battery already includes an internal PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient), which acts as a reversible fuse. In the event of an external short circuit, the PTC increases its resistance and limits the current to prevent overheating. Nevertheless, appropriate fusing should be included in the circuit, since the battery can release very large amounts of energy. Why does it have 3.6V and not 1.5V?This is a lithium industrial battery, not a normal alkaline battery. It has a nominal voltage of 3.6 volts (instead of 1.5 V). It must never under any circumstances be inserted into regular devices (such as torches or radios) that are designed for 1.5V batteries, as the double voltage would immediately destroy the electronics.

As a Energizer lithium can be used in high-tech devices up to 11x longer than a standard alkaline battery, you will need to buy new batteries much less often. If you calculate the costs per picture (for cameras) or per hour of operation, the lithium battery is often even cheaper - and you save yourself the trouble of constantly changing batteries. Can I use them in an LED torch?Yes, absolutely. It is actually highly recommended. Firstly, the torch is lighter and secondly, the brightness remains more constant over the life of the battery (flatter discharge curve). In addition, the torch continues to run even when it is left in a cold car in winter (-20 °C), whereas an alkaline battery often fails in such conditions. Is it dangerous? No, it is very safe when used properly. It has integrated safety valves (PTC) that interrupt the current flow in the event of a short circuit to prevent overheating. However, as with all lithium batteries: Do not dispose of in fire, do not open and do not recharge.Does it fit in the Apple Magic Mouse?Yes, the older generation of the Apple Magic Mouse (which still requires batteries) uses 2x AA batteries. The Energizer L91 is perfect for this, as it makes the mouse lighter, which reduces gliding resistance and is easier on the wrist. It also lasts significantly longer than the standard batteries supplied.

Voltage1.5 V (high voltage stability) RuntimeWorld's longest service life in high-tech devices Shelf life20 years (no self-discharge issues) Dimensions (L x W x H in mm)44.5 x 10.5 (Standard AAA / Micro / FR03) Temperature range-40 °C to +60 °C (The winter specialist) Packaging unit2 units in blister (L92ULTIMATEB2) Special featuresLeak-proof, ultra-light (-33% weight), temperature resistant Weight (g)approx. 7.6 (per battery)  FAQs about the Energizer Ultimate Lithium L92Why is this battery better for outdoor sensors?Alkaline batteries are based on a water-based liquid electrolyte. At temperatures below 0 °C, this becomes sluggish or freezes, internal resistance rises, and the battery provides no power (even when full). Energizer Lithium uses a different chemistry that remains liquid and effective even at -40 °C. It is therefore indispensable for winter weather stations. Can I put them in my DECT phones?Caution: No! Most cordless landline phones (DECT) use rechargeable batteries (NiMH AAA). If you insert this lithium battery and put the phone on the charging cradle, the base station will try to charge the battery. This can cause overheating and destruction of the battery or the phone. Always check the label of the old cells ("Rechargeable" vs. "Lithium").Why is the battery so light?Lithium is the lightest metal on earth. Compared to the heavy zinc and manganese dioxide components in an alkaline battery, the lithium construction saves about a third of the weight. In a computer mouse, this changes the centre of gravity and improves handling; in a headlamp, it reduces bouncing when running. How do I dispose of the empty battery?Because lithium is highly reactive, you should cover the terminals (+ and -) of empty batteries with a small strip of tape or insulating tape. Then put them into the green battery collection boxes in supermarkets or at recycling centres. Do not throw them in the household waste!

Voltage1.5 V (extremely stable voltage) RuntimeUp to 9x longer than standard alkaline (in digital cameras) Shelf life20 years (at room temperature) Dimensions (L x W x H in mm)44.5 x 10.5 (Standard AAA / Micro / FR03) Temperature range-40°C to +60°C (Ideal for winter/outdoor) Packaging unit4 pieces in blister (L92ULTIMATEB4) Special featuresGuaranteed leak-proof, 33% lighter than alkaline, top performance Weight (g)approx. 7.6 (per battery) FAQs about Energizer Ultimate Lithium L92Can I recharge this battery?Absolutely not! This is the most important safety notice. The Energizer Ultimate Lithium is a primary battery (single use). If you try to charge this in a charger, it can explode or catch fire. For rechargeable batteries, please use NiMH batteries (e.g. Energizer Recharge). Why does the battery initially have over 1.7 volts? When you measure a brand new L92, the multimeter often shows 1.7 to 1.8 volts (open circuit voltage). This is normal and is absolutely harmless for 99% of all 1.5V devices. Under load, the voltage quickly settles at a very stable level of approx. 1.5 volts, which it then holds much longer than an alkaline battery (which quickly drops to 1.2 V).Can I mix lithium and alkaline batteries? No. Never mix old and new batteries and never mix different chemistries (alkaline with lithium) in one device. The more powerful lithium battery would "overrun" the weaker alkaline battery, which may result in overheating, leakage or defects. Always replace the complete set.Is the high price worth it for a TV remote?Honestly: No. For devices with extremely low power consumption (such as a TV remote control or a simple wall clock), a standard alkaline battery is more economical. The advantages of lithium technology (high current capacity, cold resistance) do not play a role there. Use the L92 for devices that require significant power or are located outdoors.
