Deye uses standard protocols (Pylontech protocol etc.). The battery is compatible with many 48V low-voltage inverters (e.g. Victron Energy, Growatt, SMA Sunny Island, Solis) as long as the matching protocol is selected in the BMS or inverter. However, it delivers the best performance in the Deye ecosystem.What is the difference to the SE-G5.1 Pro?The designations (Pro, Pro-C, Pro-B) often refer to revisions in the chassis design, chip availability or certifications (e.g. UL certificates for specific markets). The key technical data (5.12 kWh, LFP) is usually the same. The "C" version is usually the latest, optimised for the European market.Can I expand the battery later?Yes, absolutely. You can always connect more modules in parallel to increase capacity. The BMS will balance charge differences between new and old modules to some extent.
