The Eisemann HSE 7 LED (manufactured by Metallwarenfabrik Gemmingen) is a legendary high-performance hand-held spotlight, specially designed for use in the most extreme conditions. As fully explosion-proof (ATEX) equipment, it is standard issue for many fire brigades, emergency services and in the chemical industry.Equipped with state-of-the-art 3-watt high-performance LED technology, this spotlight literally turns night into day. Unlike conventional halogen spotlights, the HSE 7 LED impresses with an extremely long lamp life (over 50,000 hours) and an extremely robust, maintenance-free lead-fleece battery that delivers consistent performance even during hours of continuous use.Highlights at a glanceCertified ATEX protection: Rigorously tested and approved for potentially explosive zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. Absolutely safe for use with gases and dusts.Flexible lighting: The lamp head can be swivelled by a total of 190° (100° forwards, 90° backwards), making it ideal for precise lighting at work or as a floor lamp.Multiple lighting modes: Provides a powerful main light (continuous light), a switchable flashing light for safety and an extremely economical auxiliary light (emergency light function) for maximum autonomy.Enormous endurance: The high-performance lead-fibre battery ensures an operating time of over 8 hours in main light mode and up to 30 hours with the auxiliary light.Ergonomic housing: The impact-resistant and non-slip plastic housing is protected against powerful water jets and dust in accordance with protection class IP66 and can be operated easily even when wearing thick protective gloves.Intelligent charging technology: The charge status indicator and the integrated deep-discharge protection prevent damage to the battery. Charging takes place outside the Ex zone in a (separately available) charging station.Areas of applicationThe Eisemann HSE 7 LED is primarily found in professional and critical infrastructure:Fire & rescue services: As a primary handheld spotlight for searching for people, at road traffic accidents or during firefighting operations (ATEX protection).Chemical & petrochemical: Inspection of tanks, refineries and production facilities where explosive gases or vapours may be present.Sewerage & sewage treatment plants: Illumination of shafts in accordance with explosion protection requirements (e.g. sewage gases).Industry & energy suppliers: Maintenance work in power stations, gas pressure regulation systems or silos (dust explosion protection).Installation & safety instructionsCharge only in a safe area: Charging the spotlight in the accompanying charging station (e.g. LS HSE 7 LED) must never in a potentially explosive atmosphere.Use extension discs: For specific applications in road traffic or in foggy conditions, orange (often included), red or green insert lenses can be fitted to the lamp head.Avoid deep discharge: Although the electronics provide protection, the lead-fleece battery should be placed back on the charging station immediately after any prolonged use. The system supports gentle trickle charging (maintenance charging).Testing: ATEX equipment must undergo regular visual and functional inspections by competent persons in commercial applications. Damaged housings or cracked lenses immediately invalidate the explosion protection! Features ModelEisemann HSE 7 LED (Item 071171) Explosion protection (ATEX)Zone 1, 2, 21, 22 (II 2 G Ex ib IIC T4 Gb) Light source**3 W LED** (main light) / **0.5 W LED** (auxiliary light) Luminous intensity / Light colour**24,000 cd** / 6500 Kelvin (cool white) Burning time (with 4V battery)approx. **8 h** (continuous light) / 18 h (flashing) / 30 h (auxiliary light) Head swivel range**190°** (100° forwards, 90° backwards) Protection class**IP 66** (Dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets) FunctionsSteady light, flashing light, dimming function, emergency lighting in the event of a power failure Dimensions (L x W x H)approx. 279 x 92 x 143 mm Weight (incl. battery)approx. **1.45 kg**  FAQs on the Eisemann HSE 7 LEDIs the charging station included in the standard scope of delivery? In most cases no. The handheld spotlight (HSE 7 LED) and the charging station (LS HSE 7 LED) are often sold separately by retailers or as part of special bundle deals. Please pay close attention to the product description when purchasing. The charging station can often be operated with both 12V/24V (vehicle) and 230V.What is the difference between the HSE 7 LED and the HS 7 LED?The "E" stands for explosion protection (ATEX). The HS 7 LED looks virtually identical and offers the same excellent light output and ergonomics, but no ATEX certification. It is more affordable and intended for standard industrial and security applications where there is no explosive atmosphere. Can I replace the battery myself if it fails after several years?According to the manufacturer and the strict ATEX guidelines, repairs and battery replacements on explosion-proof luminaires may generally only be carried out by the manufacturer or authorised, certified specialist workshops, so as not to compromise the explosion-proof guarantee (sealing and intrinsic safety).

Eisemann Charging station LS HSE 7 LED – Intelligent charging and mounting technology (12V/24V/230V)

The Eisemann LS HSE 7 LED Charging Station (or LS HS 7 LED) is the essential accessory for keeping your explosion-proof hand-held torch always ready for use and securely stored. It acts not only as an intelligent charger, but also as an extremely robust wall and vehicle mounting bracket. This station is specially adapted to the internal lead-acid battery of the 7-series torches (HSE 7 LED, HS 7 LED as well as the older halogen models). With its flexible input voltage, it can be seamlessly integrated into the electrical systems of emergency vehicles or into the regular 230V domestic mains supply. The microprocessor-controlled charging electronics guarantee maximum service life of the torch battery.Highlights at a glanceMulti-voltage compatibility: The charging station can be flexibly operated on 230V mains voltage (in buildings) or on 12V/24V on-board power supplies (fire engines, lorries, cars).Microprocessor-controlled charging technology: Ensures optimal, gentle charging of the lead-acid battery and automatically switches to trickle charge as soon as the battery is full (overcharge protection).Vibration-resistant vehicle mount: The housing also functions as a secure vehicle mounting bracket. The torch locks securely in place and withstands the extreme vibrations and centrifugal forces of emergency vehicles.Visual charge indicator: Integrated LEDs clearly display the current operating and charging status (charging, full, fault) at a glance.Compact & robust design: Space-saving and impact-resistant design, can be easily mounted in the cramped equipment compartments of modern fire engines or on narrow workshop walls.Areas of applicationEmergency vehicles (BOS): Permanent installation in fire brigade, THW or rescue services vehicles for permanent charging on the 12V/24V vehicle system.Industry & workshops: Wall mounting in foreman’s offices, workshops or control rooms in combination with the 230V power supply unit.Guard posts & security services: As a permanent charging station for patrols, where the lamp is constantly charged when not in use.Installation & safety instructionsObserve the charging location without fail (ATEX): Although the hand-held torch (HSE 7) itself is explosion-proof, the charging station does not have ATEX approval. It must never be installed or operated in a potentially explosive area. Charging must take place in a safe environment without fail!Continuous charging is desired: The torch should remain in the station at all times when not in use. The electronics prevent the battery from boiling over and protect it from harmful sulphation by means of the trickle charge.Vehicle installation: Protect the 12V/24V supply line in the vehicle system with a suitable pre-fuse in order to avoid short circuits or cable fires in the event of a cable break. Features ModelEisemann Charging Station LS 7 LED (Item 071175) CompatibilityHand-held torches HSE 7 LED and HS 7 LED Input voltage (mobile)12 V to 30 V DC (For car and lorry power supplies) Input voltage (stationary)110 V to 240 V AC (50/60 Hz) Charging processMicroprocessor-controlled (with trickle charge) Shut-off automatic (vehicle protection)Yes (Interrupts charging at < 11.7 V or < 23.5 V of the car battery) Emergency lighting functionYes (Can be enabled / disabled) Explosion protectionNot explosion-proof!
