Ecell
The ECELL LiIon 18650-2600 rechargeable battery offers you a reliable and powerful energy source for your devices. With a capacity of 2600 mAh, this lithium-ion battery delivers long-lasting power and is ideal for applications such as torches, power tools and portable devices. The battery comes with an integrated PCB (Protection Circuit Board), which provides additional safety and protects against overcharging, deep discharge and short circuits. Rely on ECELL's high quality for a stable and safe power supply.
The ECELL Li-Ion 18650-3400 mAh is a premium rechargeable battery that combines maximum energy density with the highest safety standards. Inside the ECELL casing is one of the world's best and most proven lithium-ion cells on the market: the Panasonic NCR18650B. This cell is the industry standard for extreme capacity and longevity. To make this high-performance cell absolutely safe for the end user, ECELL has equipped it with a high-quality electronic protection circuit (PCB - Protection Circuit Board). This invisible safety net at the negative terminal continuously monitors the battery in the background, making it the ideal and worry-free power source for demanding mobile devices.Highlights at a glancePanasonic Premium cell: Inside, the renowned Panasonic NCR18650B operates, known for constant power output and very low self-discharge.Integrated protection circuit (PCB): The intelligent battery management system automatically protects the battery from overcharging (over 4.2V), deep discharge (under 2.5V) and dangerous short circuits.Maximum capacity (3400 mAh): Provides genuine 3400 milliampere-hours, delivering extremely long runtimes even in power-hungry devices.Raised positive terminal (Button Top): The slightly raised positive terminal ensures perfect contact in devices where several batteries have to be inserted one after another (in series). No memory effect: Thanks to modern lithium-ion technology, the battery can be recharged at any time without a long-term loss of capacity.Long service life: Designed for many hundreds of charge and discharge cycles with consistently high energy output.Fields of applicationThe protected ECELL 18650 battery is perfect for devices that require a constant power supply over a long period of time:High-performance LED torches: (e.g. Nitecore, Fenix, Olight) for maximum lighting duration during search and rescue operations.Outdoor and camping equipment: Headlamps, portable lanterns and mobile fans.Measuring devices and sensors: Professional industrial or meteorological instruments.Laser pointers and optical devices: For a stable power supply without sudden drops in performance.Assembly & safety instructionsAttention: Excess length due to PCB! Due to the attached protection circuit and the button top terminal, this battery is approx. 3 to 4 mm longer than an unprotected industrial flat top cell (68.5 mm instead of 65.0 mm). Please check beforehand whether your device's battery compartment can accommodate this length.Charging technology: Use exclusively high-quality chargers that are explicitly approved for lithium-ion batteries with a final charging voltage of 4.2V (CCCV charging method).Temperature: Do not expose the battery to direct heat (do not store or operate above 60°C). Ideally charge Li-Ion batteries at room temperature, never in frost. The Panasonic NCR18650B cell is designed for maximum endurance (capacity), not for high current. In addition, the protection circuit (PCB) limits the maximum discharge current to approx. 5 to 6 amperes. Modern sub-ohm e-cigarettes, however, often require short-term peak currents of 20A to 30A. The ECELL battery would immediately shut off due to the protection circuit. For e-cigarettes, use special, unprotected high current cells (e.g. Sony Konion VTC5/VTC6).Does the battery fit as a replacement for the battery in my laptop or e-bike?No. In laptop battery packs, e-bike batteries or power tools, unprotected industrial cells (Flat Top) are firmly welded together. The battery management is handled by a central external board for the entire pack. A single, already internally protected cell with Button Top cannot be welded into such packs and would interfere with the external system. Why does it say 3.6V on the battery when my charger charges up to 4.2V?This is completely normal. 3.6 Volt (or 3.7 Volt) is only the nominal voltage, i.e. the average operating voltage over the entire discharge cycle. When the lithium battery is fully charged to 100%, its actual voltage (final charging voltage) is exactly 4.2 Volt. If it falls to approx. 2.5V to 3.0V, it is considered empty.
