The C line must always appear for the test to be valid. If an additional line appears in one of the test fields, this indicates a probable infection with the corresponding pathogen.What should I do if I get a positive result?A positive result indicates a high probability of infection. In this case, it is strongly recommended to contact a doctor, a pharmacy or the public health department to discuss the result, confirm it with a PCR test if necessary and coordinate further measures (such as treatment or isolation).How reliable is the test result?Rapid antigen tests offer high reliability, especially for people with a high viral load (in the first few days after the onset of symptoms).
