Description

Product information

The Yuasa NP1.2-12 VdS is a compact, valve-regulated lead-acid battery (VRLA) with a nominal voltage of 12 V and a capacity of 1.2 Ah. Thanks to its leak-proof AGM technology, excellent deep discharge recovery and VdS certification, this maintenance-free battery is ideal for safety-critical applications such as fire alarm systems, emergency power systems or communication devices.

Highlights at a glance

  • Compact capacity: 1.2 Ah at 12 V for small to medium consumers
  • Certified: VdS approval for safety-relevant systems
  • High current carrying capacity: Maximum discharge current 36 A for 1 minute
  • Maintenance free: AGM technology with gas recombination and sealed housing
  • Durable: EUROBAT classification "Standard Commercial" – up to 5 years service life

Compact energy for critical systems

With 1.2 Ah (20h discharge up to 1.75 V/cell), the NP1.2-12 lead-acid battery offers a reliable power supply for safety-relevant applications. Thanks to its high peak current output, it is particularly suitable for devices that require more power at short notice, for example in alarm or emergency scenarios.

Maintenance-free technology with robust design

The AGM technology (Absorbent Glass Mat) binds the electrolyte completely in the separator so that no free electrolyte can escape. The integrated oxygen recombination (> 99 %) prevents water loss and makes the battery virtually maintenance-free. Low-pressure safety valves ensure controlled gas release and close automatically again.

The housing is made of robust ABS plastic (UL94:HB), optionally a flame-retardant version (UL94:V0) is available. Thanks to the compact design, the battery is easy to integrate, even in space-critical systems.
