The Yuasa NP17-12I VDS is an industrial, valve-regulated lead-acid battery (VRLA) with 12 V nominal voltage and 17 Ah capacity (20h). Thanks to leak-proof AGM technology, high current carrying capacity and VdS certification, this maintenance-free battery is particularly suitable for safety-critical applications such as fire alarm systems, UPS systems or telecommunications.

Robust technology with long service life

The maintenance-free AGM technology (Absorbent Glass Mat) ensures a gas-tight seal with > 99 % gas recombination. The battery does not require electrolyte refilling and features self-closing low-pressure vent valves for safe pressure regulation. Self-discharge is only approx. 3 % per month, ideal for long-term readiness.

 

The housing is made from durable ABS plastic (UL94:HB), with a flame-retardant version to UL94:V0 available as an option. The M5 internal thread or bolt connections enable stable and secure assembly with a tightening torque of 2.45 Nm.
