No, replacement is usually very simple and can be performed without technical expertise. Most APC Back UPS systems have an easily accessible battery compartment. You only need to disconnect and remove the old battery unit and attach and insert the new VISION RBC123 kit. Pay attention to the correct wiring of the two batteries.

The case size is the same, but the polarity is reversed.U1 (or U1L): Positive terminal is left.U1R (your battery): Positive terminal is right. The cables in lawn tractors are usually extremely short and measured exactly. If you buy the wrong polarity, the cables will not reach the connections. Look at your old battery: Where is the red cable (+) connected?What should I do in winter?Garden batteries usually die in winter. If the mower sits from October to March, the battery will discharge and fail (sulphation).
