With leak-proof AGM technology, high current-carrying capacity and VdS approval, this maintenance-free battery is a reliable power source for safety-critical applications such as fire alarm systems, UPS systems or telecommunications systems.

Highlights at a glance

  • Reliable capacity: 24 Ah (20h) / 22.3 Ah (10h) at 12 V for a constant power supply
  • VdS approved: G 182026 for safety-related applications
  • High peak load: Maximum discharge current up to 500 A for 1 second
  • Maintenance-free: AGM technology with > 99% gas recombination
  • Flexible installation: Internal threaded or bolt connections (M5) with a tightening torque of 2.45 Nm

High-performance solution for critical systems

With a nominal capacity of 24 Ah (20-hour discharge to 1.75 V/cell) and 22.3 Ah (10-hour discharge to 1.8 V/cell), the NP24-12I delivers a reliable and stable power supply – even during sudden load peaks of up to 500 A. Ideal for emergency power supplies, security technology and communication systems where reliability is of the utmost importance.

Robust technology with high operational reliability

The maintenance-free AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology completely binds the electrolyte within the separator, meaning there is no free electrolyte present. With gas recombination of over 99% and self-closing safety valves, the battery is safe in operation and requires no topping up. The low self-discharge rate of approx. 3% per month makes it particularly suitable for long-term storage.

The housing, made of robust ABS plastic, complies with the UL94:HB standard; a flame-retardant version in accordance with UL94:V0 is available upon request.
