It is intended exclusively for installation in battery packs where external protection electronics (BMS) take over these safety functions for the entire pack. Direct operation as a single cell is not safe and not intended.Who is this battery suitable for?This cell is intended exclusively for professionals and commercial customers who have experience in handling and assembling Li-Ion batteries and are able to implement the necessary protective measures (BMS/PCM). It is not a battery for direct use by end consumers.How is this cell charged?Lithium-ion cells require a special charging method (CC-CV: constant current, then constant voltage). Charging must only be carried out with a suitable Li-Ion charger or charging circuit which precisely maintains the final charging voltage of 4.2 V. Incorrect charging can destroy the cell and poses a safety risk.How should this battery be disposed of?Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an industrial waste battery, it is subject to the provisions of the Battery Act. The decisive advantage of the NCR18650GA however is its significantly higher continuous current load capacity of 10 amperes compared to the NCR18650B (approx. 4.8 A).
