The Yuasa NP12-6 VDS is a valve-regulated lead-acid battery (VRLA) with a nominal voltage of 6 V and a capacity of 12 Ah, which has been specially developed for safety-critical and industrial applications. Thanks to leak-proof AGM technology, high discharge current capability and VdS approval, this battery offers a reliable power supply for many years and is maintenance-free and flexible in use.

With up to 360 A discharge current for 1 second and 75 A for 1 minute, the battery is particularly suitable for UPS systems, alarm systems or medical devices.
Technology for the highest demands
The VRLA technology with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) ensures gas-tight, maintenance-free operation without the need to top up with water. The battery achieves a long service life of up to 5 years at 20 °C (EUROBAT: "Standard Commercial"). With only about 3 % self-discharge per month, longer storage is also possible without any issues.
The battery meets the highest safety standards: The robust housing is made from ABS plastic and can also be supplied in a flame-retardant version (UL94:V0) on request. Low-pressure vent valves provide safe pressure equalisation in the cells.
