With a capacity of 6 Ah (10h) or 6.3 Ah (20h) and a cold start current of 105 A (EN), it has been specially developed for modern scooters, especially for Yamaha models with a specific battery compartment. Thanks to factory activation, it is immediately ready for use and offers state-of-the-art fleece technology for a long service life.

The YTZ7V is a relatively new battery size that is mainly found on the Asian and European scooter market in Yamaha. It is the standard battery for the Yamaha NMAX 125 / 155, the Yamaha Tricity 155 and the Yamaha Aerox 155. In these vehicles, the battery box is precisely designed for the height of 120 mm, so neither the flatter YTZ7S (wobbles) nor the taller YTX7L (won't fit) would fit optimally.

What is the difference to the YTZ7S?

The difference lies solely in the height.

• YTZ7S: 105 mm high.
• YTZ7V (your battery): 120 mm high.

The YTZ7V is 1.5 cm higher than the YTZ7S. If your scooter (e.g. NMAX) is designed for the YTZ7V, the YTZ7S would be too flat and the retaining bar would not grip (the battery would wobble). In terms of performance values, they are very similar.

What is the difference to the YTX7L-BS?

Here too, height is decisive.

• YTX7L-BS: 130 mm high.
• YTZ7V (your battery): 120 mm high.

The YTX7L is 1 cm higher and therefore often does not fit into the battery compartment intended for the YTZ7V (seat/cover does not close). In addition, the YTZ7V is factory-filled, whereas the YTX7L usually has to be filled manually.

What does \"WC\" mean?

\"WC\" stands for \"Wet Charged\". The battery has already been filled, activated, and sealed at the factory. This ensures high manufacturing quality and tightness. You do not need to fill it with acid – simply install and go.

How do I charge this battery?

Use a modern charger for motorcycle batteries (AGM-compatible) with a maximum charging current of 0.6 amps. As this is a sealed VRLA battery, avoid chargers with too high a voltage (>14.8 V), as this can cause the battery to dry out.
