What is the difference to the YBX3000 series (e.g. YBX3205)?

The YBX5000 series ("Silver") is the more powerful premium line. While the YBX3000 series ("Black") is designed for approx. 30,000 starts and standard requirements, the YBX5000 series offers up to 50,000 starts and approx. 35% more starting power. The YBX5005 is therefore the higher-value upgrade to the YBX3205.

Is this battery suitable for start-stop?

No. Even though the YBX5005 is very powerful, it is a conventional wet-cell battery. Vehicles with start-stop automatic (e.g. Mazda i-Stop) necessarily require an EFB battery (YBX7000 series) or AGM battery (YBX9000 series).

Will the battery fit in my Mazda/Toyota?

If your vehicle requires a "D23" size battery (approx. 23 cm length, approx. 22 cm height) and the positive terminal is on the right side, the YBX5005 is the ideal choice. Please check pole arrangement and dimensions before purchasing.

How does the "Magic Eye" work?

The indicator on the lid provides information about the condition: Green means "Charged / OK". Black means "Charging required". White or clear usually signals "Low acid level / Defect".
