What is the difference to a standard 60Ah battery (e.g., YBX3075)?

The difference is in the form factor. The YBX3075 is a European DIN battery (243 mm long, 175 mm high). The YBX3205 is an Asian JIS battery (232 mm long, 225 mm high). So it is shorter but considerably higher. It also usually sits flat on the base ("Base strip N"), as Asian cars usually fix the battery with a clamp over the lid. They are not mechanically interchangeable.

Is the battery suitable for start-stop?

No. The YBX3205 is a conventional starter battery. Vehicles (including Asian models like Mazda Skyactiv) with start-stop system (i-Stop) require special EFB batteries (e.g., YBX7000 series for JIS).

Does this battery fit my Mazda or Toyota?

If your vehicle requires a "D23" size battery (length approx. 23 cm) and the positive terminal is on the right, then yes. Please also check whether the terminals protrude from the top of the case (typical for JIS) and whether you require standard round terminals (not thin terminals). The YBX3205 has standard terminals.

How does the “Magic Eye” work?

The “Magic Eye” is an indicator on the lid. Green shows a good charge level. Black usually means the battery needs to be charged. Clear or white indicates a low acid level or a defect.
