The Yuasa YBX3202 is a compact 12V starter battery from the YBX3000 SMF series (Sealed Maintenance Free), which has been specially developed for small cars and vehicles with very limited installation space. With a capacity of 40 Ah and a cold-start current of 360 A (EN), it offers reliable starting power for smaller petrol engines. Thanks to the modern calcium/calcium technology and the sealed double lid, this battery is 100% maintenance-free and offers a starting performance that is up to 20% higher than that of standard batteries. It is designed for approx. 30,000 starts.

FAQs about the Yuasa YBX3202

Will this battery fit in my car?

The YBX3202 is particularly short (175 mm long). Measure your battery box: If the battery looks almost square (length and width are both 175 mm) and the positive pole is on the right, then this is the right model. It is often referred to as L0 size.

Is the battery suitable for start-stop?

No. The YBX3202 is a conventional starter battery. Small cars with a start-stop system (e.g. Fiat 500 Start-Stop) require an EFB battery (e.g. YBX7000 Series), as these are more cycle-resistant.

What is the difference to the YBX3063?

The YBX3063 has a similar capacity, but is longer (207 mm, housing L1). The YBX3202 is significantly shorter at 175 mm (housing L0). If your retaining bracket is not adjustable, you must choose the correct length.

How does the "Magic Eye" work?

The "Magic Eye" is an indicator on the cover. Green indicates a good state of charge. Black usually means the battery needs to be charged. Clear or white indicates a low acid level or defect.
