It is also safer, more environmentally friendly and has no memory effect. This leads to lower maintenance and replacement costs over the service life of the system.How does the automatic self-test function work?The luminaire automatically and regularly performs short functional tests (weekly) and a full endurance test (semi-annually). The Panasonic NCR18650B cell is designed for maximum endurance (capacity), not for high current. In addition, the protection circuit (PCB) limits the maximum discharge current to approx. 5 to 6 amperes. Modern sub-ohm e-cigarettes, however, often require short-term peak currents of 20A to 30A. The ECELL battery would immediately shut off due to the protection circuit. For e-cigarettes, use special, unprotected high current cells (e.g. Sony Konion VTC5/VTC6).Does the battery fit as a replacement for the battery in my laptop or e-bike?No. In laptop battery packs, e-bike batteries or power tools, unprotected industrial cells (Flat Top) are firmly welded together. The battery management is handled by a central external board for the entire pack. A single, already internally protected cell with Button Top cannot be welded into such packs and would interfere with the external system.Why does it say 3.6V on the battery when my charger charges up to 4.2V?This is completely normal. 3.6 Volt (or 3.7 Volt) is only the nominal voltage, i.e. the average operating voltage over the entire discharge cycle. When the lithium battery is fully charged to 100%, its actual voltage (final charging voltage) is exactly 4.2 Volt. If it falls to approx. 2.5V to 3.0V, it is considered empty.

The height of 175 mm is particularly important here. Many standard batteries are 190 mm high. If your bracket or the cover in the engine compartment requires the lower version (175 mm), this battery is the right choice. Please also compare the pole arrangement (positive pole on the right).What does "Magic Eye" mean?The "Magic Eye" is a small sight glass indicator on the cover of the battery. It changes colour depending on the state of charge and acid level (often green for "OK", black for "charging required", white for "check/defect"). This enables quick diagnosis without a measuring device.Can I use this battery for start-stop cars?No. The YBX3075 is a conventional lead-acid starter battery. Vehicles with a start-stop system require more cycle-resistant batteries (EFB or AGM). Installing this battery in a start-stop vehicle would lead to a very rapid failure.Do I need to pay attention to anything when installing the battery (base plate)?The battery has a B3/B4 base plate. This means that it has mounting strips on the long and wide sides (10.5 mm high), which makes it compatible with most European mounting systems where the battery is clamped to the floor.
