What is the difference to the YBX3063?

The difference is the terminal posts.

• YBX3053: Has thin posts (like the little finger).
• YBX3063: Has thick standard posts (like the thumb). The case size is the same. Take a good look at your battery terminal clamps. If you have thin clamps, you need the YBX3053.

I am looking for 40Ah, can I use this 45Ah battery?

Yes, this is even recommended. The size (NS60) has historically often been fitted with 40Ah or 42Ah. The YBX3053 uses the same space but, thanks to more modern technology, provides 45Ah. This means more reserve in winter and a longer service life.

Is the battery suitable for start-stop?

No. The YBX3053 is a maintenance-free wet battery. It is not designed for start-stop systems. If your Asian small car has start-stop, you need an EFB battery (e.g. Yuasa YBX7053).
