Does this battery have thick or thin terminals?

The YBX3009 has the thin Asian poles (type T3). The diameter of the positive terminal is approx. 14.7 mm, and that of the negative terminal approx. 13.0 mm. This is considerably thinner than on standard European batteries (approx. 19 mm). Please check your battery terminals before purchase! If you have thick terminals, this battery will only fit with terminal adapters.

Where is the positive terminal located?

With the YBX3009, the positive terminal is on the left (pole arrangement 1) when the battery is positioned so the terminals are facing the viewer.

Can I also use this battery for my lawn tractor?

Yes, this is a very common use. Many lawn tractors (e.g. from Honda, Kubota or John Deere) use exactly this size with the thin terminals. As the YBX3009 is vibration resistant and maintenance-free, it is ideal for this purpose, provided the dimensions and polarity fit.

Is the battery suitable for start-stop?

No. The YBX3009 is a conventional starter battery. It is not designed for vehicles with automatic start-stop.
