What is the difference to the YBX1027?

The YBX1075 and the YBX1027 have identical performance data (56Ah/510A) and dimensions. The only difference is the terminal arrangement:

• YBX1027: Positive terminal right (standard).
• YBX1075: Positive terminal left (special). Please check under the bonnet before purchase: On which side is the red positive cable? If it's on the left, you need the YBX1075.

Is this battery suitable for start-stop?

No. The YBX1075 is a conventional lead-acid wet battery. It is not suitable for vehicles with a start-stop system. Using it in such a vehicle would result in extremely rapid wear. For this you need an EFB or AGM battery.

Will the battery fit if my old one was 190 mm high?

Mechanically, yes, it fits in the mounting. However, as the YBX1075 is only 175 mm high, the upper support bar (if present) may be too loose. In this case, you might need a height adapter or should look for a standard height battery (L2, 190mm). If, however, the battery is clamped below at the base strip, the lower height is usually not an issue.

Do I need to charge the battery?

The battery is supplied filled and charged ("Plug & Play"). However, after longer storage before installation, or if the vehicle is only rarely used, a full charge with a charger is always beneficial for its service life.
