What is the difference to the YBX1057 or YBX1053?

The difference is in the terminals.

• The YBX1057 (and 1053) has the same dimensions, but thin Asian terminals (thin terminal/T3).
• The YBX1063 has thick European terminals (standard/T1). Please be sure to check your battery terminals before buying: Are they as thin as a little finger (approx. 13-14mm) or as thick as a thumb (approx. 18-19mm)? For "thick" terminals, the YBX1063 is the right choice.

Where is the positive terminal?

With the YBX1063, the positive terminal is on the left side when you position the battery so the terminals are facing you. (pole arrangement 1).

Can I use this battery instead of a 40Ah battery?

Yes, absolutely. The YBX1063 with 45 Ah has the same dimensions as a typical 40 Ah NS60L battery but provides more capacity and starting power. This is a technical upgrade and is highly recommended for older vehicles.
