XCELL XP65-12 lead-acid battery with 12 V and 65 Ah - VdS approval
Description
Product information
The XCELL XP65-12 is a high-performance lead-acid battery with a nominal voltage of 12 volts and a capacity of 65 Ah (20h rate), ideal for safety-critical applications and demanding industrial environments. Equipped with M6 inlay terminals and tested according to VdS G118049, it impresses with high discharge currents, long service life and reliable performance even under difficult environmental conditions.
Highlights at a glance
- Certified: VdS G118049 – suitable for safety-relevant systems
- High capacity: 65 Ah at 20h discharge, 37.7 Ah at 1h load
- High performance: Discharge current up to 780 A for 5 seconds
- Durable: Up to 10 years float life at 20 °C
- Maintenance-free: AGM technology with leak-proof design
Powerful performance for industrial and safety-critical applications
Thanks to its reliable AGM technology and high current output, the XP65-12 is ideal for fire and intrusion alarm systems, emergency power systems, telecommunications, medical technology and many other industrial applications. The M6 terminals ensure a secure connection, even under heavy load. With its compact dimensions (348 × 167 × 178 mm), it offers high energy density and can be easily integrated into existing systems.
Efficiency and service life at a high level
In float operation, the battery has a service life of up to 10 years at 20 °C. The charging voltage is 13.5 – 13.8 V in standby mode and 14.4 – 15.0 V in cyclic operation. The maximum charging capacity is 19.5 A. Thanks to the temperature-compensated charging curve, safe and efficient power absorption is guaranteed even with temperature fluctuations. The low self-discharge enables storage times of up to 6 months without recharging at 25 °C.
Technology for maximum reliability
The standard ABS case is robust and can optionally be made flame-retardant (UL94-V0). A low internal resistance of approx. 7.3 mΩ ensures low losses and high system efficiency. The battery retains 86% of its performance even at 0 °C and still 65% at –15 °C. The product meets international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and CE.
