The XCELL XP65-12 is a high-performance lead-acid battery with a nominal voltage of 12 V and a capacity of 65 Ah (20 h rate), ideal for safety-critical applications and demanding industrial environments. Equipped with M6 inlay terminals and tested to VdS G118049, it impresses with high discharge currents, a long service life and reliable performance, even under difficult environmental conditions.
Highlights at a glance
- VdS approved: G 118049 for safety-related applications
- High capacity: 65 Ah at a 20-hour discharge rate, 37.7 Ah at a 1-hour discharge rate
- High-performance: Discharge current up to 780 A for 5 seconds
- Long-lasting: Up to 10 years float life at 20 °C
- Maintenance-free: AGM technology with leak-proof design
High performance for industrial and safety-critical applications
Thanks to its reliable AGM technology and high current output, the XP65-12 is ideal for fire and burglar alarm systems, emergency power systems, telecommunications, medical technology and many other industrial applications. The M6 terminals ensure a secure connection, even under high load. With its compact dimensions (348 × 167 × 178 mm), it offers high energy density and can be easily integrated into existing systems.
High levels of efficiency and service life
In float mode, the battery has a service life of up to 10 years at 20 °C. The charging voltage is 13.5–13.8 V in standby mode and 14.4–15.0 V in cyclic operation. The maximum charging current is 19.5 A. Thanks to the temperature-compensated charging curve, safe and efficient energy absorption is guaranteed even with temperature fluctuations. The low self-discharge rate allows for storage periods of up to 6 months without recharging at 25 °C.
Technology for maximum reliability
The standard ABS housing is robust and can optionally be supplied in a flame-retardant (UL94-V0) version. A low internal resistance of approx. 7.3 mΩ ensures low losses and high system efficiency. The battery retains 86% of its capacity even at 0 °C and 65% at –15 °C. The product complies with international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and CE.
