Description

Product information

The Vision 6FM75TDX is a high-performance, cycle-proof and valve-regulated lead-acid battery (VRLA) with 12 Volt nominal voltage and 75 Ah capacity. Designed for demanding cyclic applications, this battery combines maintenance-free AGM technology with a robust design. It offers a reliable and long-lasting energy solution for applications where repeated charging and discharging is a daily occurrence, such as in solar technology, mobile applications or rehabilitation technology.

Highlights at a glance

  • High cycle stability: Developed for demanding cyclic use with a long service life.
  • Strong capacity: 75 Ah at 12 V for long-lasting and reliable power supply.
  • Maintenance-free AGM technology: The advanced AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology ensures leak-proof and maintenance-free operation.
  • Low self-discharge: With only about 3% self-discharge per month, the battery is ready for use even after longer periods of disuse.
  • Flexible installation: Operation is possible in all positions, with the exception of continuous upside-down use.
  • Robust construction: The durable ABS plastic housing reliably protects the battery against mechanical impact.

Reliable energy for demanding cycles

The Vision 6FM75TDX has been specially optimised for cyclic operation. It delivers a nominal capacity of 75 Ah on a 20-hour discharge (C20). Its particular strength lies in its ability to be repeatedly deeply discharged and recharged without significant loss of capacity. This makes it the ideal choice for solar installations, electric vehicles and other mobile power supplies that require constant and reliable performance.

Advanced technology for maximum longevity

Thanks to the VRLA technology (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) in combination with the AGM system, where the electrolyte is contained in a glass fibre mat, the 6FM75TDX is fully sealed and maintenance-free. This not only prevents leaks, but also enables efficient gas recombination within the cell. The battery features low internal resistance, allowing high current draw. The low self-discharge rate ensures that the stored energy is preserved for long periods, which is particularly advantageous for seasonally used equipment.

FAQs about the Vision 6FM75TDX lead-acid battery

For which applications is the Vision 6FM75TDX suitable?

This battery is specially designed for cyclic applications and is excellently suited for:

  • Solar and photovoltaic off-grid systems
  • Motorhomes, caravans and boats
  • Electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters
  • Cleaning machines and automated guided vehicles (AGVs)
  • Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) with high cycle requirements

What does the term "cycle-proof" mean?

Cycle-proof means that the battery is designed to be frequently and deeply discharged and then fully recharged. Unlike a conventional starter battery, which is designed for short, high current surges, a cycle-proof battery retains its capacity over many of these charge and discharge cycles.

Is the battery completely maintenance-free?

Yes, thanks to the sealed AGM technology, the battery is completely maintenance-free. No topping up with distilled water is required and it is protected against leakage.

How should the battery be charged to maximise its service life?

For maximum service life, we recommend using a good quality charger with an IUoU charging profile suitable for AGM batteries. The charging voltage should be between 14.4 V and 15.0 V in cyclic operation at 20 °C. The maximum charging current should not exceed 22.5 A.

Can I connect several of these batteries together?

Yes, you can connect several Vision 6FM75TDX batteries in series to increase the voltage (e.g. two for a 24 V system), or in parallel to increase the capacity. Please ensure that you only connect batteries of the same type, age and state of charge.

What storage conditions and temperature ranges apply?

  • Charging: 0 °C to +40 °C
  • Discharging: −20 °C to +50 °C
  • Storage (fully charged): −20 °C to +40 °C

Always store the battery fully charged in a cool, dry place. Due to the low self-discharge rate, recharging is only required every six months during longer storage.

The robust housing made of impact-resistant ABS plastic is available on request also in a flame-retardant version according to UL94:V0.Features ModelVision CP1250HF2 Battery typeVRLA AGM (high current) Nominal voltage (V)12 Capacity (Ah)5 (at 20h rate) Maximum discharge current75A (for 5 seconds) Charging voltage (float charge)13.5V - 13.8V Charging voltage (cyclic operation)14.4V - 15.0V Operating temperature (°C)Charge: 0 ~ 40 / Discharge: -20 ~ 50 Storage temperature (°C)-20 ~ 40 Service lifeup to 5 years (EUROBAT: Standard Commercial) Dimensions (L/W/H, mm)90 x 70 x 107 Weight (kg)approx. 1.75 ConnectionFaston 250 (6.35 mm) CertificationsISO9001, ISO14001, CE, UL  FAQs about the Vision CP1250HF2 lead-acid batteryFor which applications is the CP1250HF2 suitable? The battery is ideal for demanding standby applications with high power requirements:Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)Data centres and telecommunication systemsSafety lighting and emergency lighting systemsFire alarm systems (FAS) and intruder alarm systems (IAS)Medical and clinical devicesWhat does the designation "HF" and "high current capability" mean? The designation "HF" for Vision batteries stands for "High Rate" or high current. These batteries are constructed with thinner lead plates and a larger active surface, resulting in reduced internal resistance. This allows them to deliver significantly higher currents for short periods than standard batteries of the same capacity, which is crucial for starting motors or operating UPS systems. What is the difference compared to a CP1250A standard battery?Although both have the same capacity and size, the CP1250HF2 is specially optimised for high power delivery. The standard battery CP1250A is an all-purpose type. The HF type is the first choice when maximum power output is required in the first few minutes of a power failure, as is the case in UPS systems. What is the correct charging voltage for this battery? For maximum service life in standby operation, the float charge voltage at 20 °C should be between 13.5 V and 13.8 V (2.25 V to 2.30 V per cell). Temperature compensation is recommended for optimal battery maintenance. Is the battery maintenance-free?Yes, thanks to sealed AGM technology, the battery is completely maintenance-free. There is no need to top up with water, and it can be safely operated in devices and indoors. Can I use this battery for an electric scooter?Although the battery would technically work, it is not ideal for this purpose. It is optimised for standby operation. For electric scooters that require daily charge and discharge cycles, we recommend cycle-resistant batteries (recognisable by "DX" on Vision), as these achieve a significantly longer service life in cyclic operation.
