The Vision 6FM65X is a robust, valve-regulated lead-acid battery (VRLA) with a nominal voltage of 12 volts and a capacity of 65 ampere-hours. Robust technology for demanding environments

Thanks to the VRLA technology with AGM system the 6FM65X is completely maintenance-free and leak-proof. The electrolyte is securely bound in a glass fibre mat, which allows for safe handling and operation in any position. The battery features self-closing low-pressure vent valves that ensure pressure equalisation within the cells. The casing is made of robust ABS plastic that is impact- and break-resistant and is also available in a flame-retardant version (UL94:V0) upon request. The low self-discharge rate of approximately 3 % per month enables long-term storage while preserving high operational readiness.

The addition "10-year battery" refers to the battery’s design life. This means that, under ideal conditions (float charge at 20 °C), the battery has a life expectancy of up to 10 years. The actual service life may vary depending on the individual operating conditions, such as depth of discharge and ambient temperature.

Is the battery maintenance-free?

Yes, thanks to AGM technology, the battery is completely maintenance-free. The electrolyte is bound in the mat, which means that topping up with water is not necessary.

Can the battery be installed flexibly?

Yes, the battery can be operated in any position. The exception is permanent overhead mounting, which should be avoided.

What charging parameters apply to the battery?

For float charging, we recommend a voltage of 13.6 V to 13.8 V. In cyclic operation, i.e. with regular charging and discharging, the charging voltage should be between 14.4 V and 14.7 V.
