The electrolyte is securely bound in glass fibre fleece, ensuring safe handling and operation in any position. The battery has self-sealing low pressure relief valves that ensure pressure equalisation within the cells. The case is made of robust ABS plastic, which is impact and break-resistant and, if required, is also available in a flame-retardant version (UL94:V0). The low self-discharge rate of about 3 % per month enables long-term storage with high operational readiness.
