The Vision 6FM200DX is a cycle-resistant, valve-regulated lead battery (VRLA) with 12 volts nominal voltage and 200 ampere hours capacity. It is specially designed for demanding applications with recurring charge and discharge cycles. Thanks to the AGM technology (Absorbent Glass Mat), this battery provides a reliable, leak-proof and long-lasting power supply. It is the ideal solution for systems which require high cycle durability and deep discharges and is excellently suited for cyclical as well as standby operation.

Robust technology for demanding environments

Thanks to the VRLA technology with AGM system, the 6FM200DX is absolutely maintenance-free and leak-proof. The electrolyte is safely bound in a glass-fibre fleece, which allows safe handling and operation in any position. The battery has self-closing low-pressure relief valves to ensure pressure equalisation within the cells. The housing is made of robust ABS plastic, which is also available in a flame-retardant version (UL94:V0) on request. The low self-discharge rate of about 3 % per month enables long-term storage with high operational readiness.

How do I charge the battery correctly?

We recommend using a charger designed for AGM batteries with a capacity of 200 Ah. Please observe the charging voltages recommended by the manufacturer: for float charging 13.6 V to 13.8 V and for cycle charging 14.4 V to 14.7 V. A charging current of over 60 A can shorten the battery's service life.

How long does the 6FM200DX battery last?

The battery's life expectancy is up to 10 years at 20 °C in design life. However, the actual service life depends heavily on the individual operating conditions, the depth of discharge and the ambient temperature. For example, more than 600 cycles can be achieved with 50 % depth of discharge.
