Rayovac Hearing aid battery 675AC pack of 6
Product information
The Rayovac 675AC hearing aid battery (size 675, colour code blue) in the convenient pack of 6 is the ultimate powerhouse among hearing aid batteries. As one of the world’s leading manufacturers in hearing care, Rayovac has developed this cell specifically for super-power and ultra-power hearing systems, which require a maximum of constant energy to reliably compensate for severe hearing loss.
Thanks to innovative zinc-air technology (Zinc-Air) and the advanced "Active Core Plus" architecture, size 675 offers by far the highest capacity of all standard hearing aid batteries. It not only guarantees outstanding battery life, but also provides the necessary power reserves for the intensive continuous use of demanding digital functions and extensive Bluetooth streaming.
Highlights at a glance
- Colour code blue (size 675): The globally standardised colour coding makes buying replacements a breeze – if your device requires a "blue" battery or the old blister pack says "675", you’ve come to the right place.
- Maximum capacity: With around 630 mAh, this battery offers the highest energy density and is designed for devices with very high power requirements (super-power class).
- Zinc-air technology: The battery is only activated once the blue freshness seal is removed and the cell reacts with oxygen from the ambient air.
- Long shelf life: Unopened and with the seal intact, you can store these premium batteries for up to 4 years without any noticeable loss of performance.
- Safe blister design: The practical dial pack allows easy removal of individual cells, while the remaining supply stays securely fixed in the blister pack.
- Leak-proof & Reliable: A robust stainless steel housing protects the battery against corrosion and safeguards the expensive electronics of your hearing aid from damage.
Areas of application
Size 675 (blue) is the specialised power source for high-performance hearing systems:
- Super-power & ultra-power BTE: The standard choice for very powerful behind-the-ear devices used for severe to profound hearing loss.
- Intensive streaming: Provides the necessary endurance for users who connect their hearing aids intensively to smartphones, TVs or external microphones throughout the day.
- Bone conduction hearing systems: Often used in special bone-anchored hearing aids (Baha) or hearing glasses, which have high power requirements.
Installation & safety instructions
- Activation time (Very important!): Remove the blue sticker and be sure to leave the battery to rest in the air for 1 to 2 minutes before inserting it into the hearing aid. Only then can sufficient oxygen enter the cell to build up the operating voltage of 1.45 V.
- Keep the freshness seal intact: Do not remove the sticker until immediately before use. Once removed, chemical discharge will inevitably begin – even if you stick the seal back on straight away.
- Optimal storage: Store the batteries at room temperature (approx. 10°C to 25°C) in a dry place. The fridge is off limits, as condensation can form there and make the battery unusable.
- Environmentally friendly disposal: Empty zinc-air batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. Dispose of them properly in the collection boxes at your hearing care professional, in retail stores or at the recycling centre.

FAQs on the Rayovac 675AC blister pack
How long does a size 675 battery last in my hearing aid?
That depends heavily on the hearing aid and how it is used. Since size 675 has the highest capacity of all standard hearing aid batteries, it usually lasts a very long time – on average between 9 and 20 days. However, as it is often used in super-power devices with extremely high power requirements, the runtime may also be shorter with continuous Bluetooth streaming.
Does this battery fit devices from Phonak, Signia or Oticon?
Yes, without limitation. Hearing aid battery sizes are standardised worldwide. Regardless of the manufacturer of your hearing system – if your device requires a size 675 battery or the battery compartment has a blue marking, this Rayovac battery will fit 100%.
Can I use this size 675 battery for my cochlear implant (CI)?
We recommend special CI batteries. The standard size 675 battery (blue) is exactly the same size as a cochlear implant battery, but is internally constructed differently. CIs draw very high current peaks at extremely short intervals, for which this standard battery is not optimally designed. For implants, ideally use special "Cochlear" or "Implant Plus" batteries in size 675.| Capacity: | 0.63Ah |
