Flexibility and intuitive operation

Thanks to the PETZL HYBRID CONCEPT, you have the choice: use the headlamp with the supplied AAA batteries or upgrade to the separately available PETZL CORE battery. The headlamp automatically detects the energy source and adjusts its performance. The main difference is the robustness. The ARIA 2 RGB is much more resistant than the ACTIK series (IPX4, splashproof) thanks to IP67 (dust and waterproof) and IK07 (impact-resistant). In addition, the ARIA 2 RGB not only offers red, but also green and blue light, making it ideal for hunting and fishing.

What are green and blue light needed for?

Green light is often used by hunters or anglers, as it scares animals less and highlights contrasts in nature. Blue light is used in certain situations for tracking (e.g. making sweat visible) or in forensics.

Is the CORE battery included?

No, this model comes with three AAA batteries to ensure immediate usability. The PETZL CORE battery is available separately and enables rechargeable operation of the headlamp.
