In addition to the powerful white light (450 lumens) with mixed light cone, the ARIA 2 RGB offers a fully functional colour LED. Red light maintains the eye's dark adaptation and ensures inconspicuousness. Green light offers high contrast when searching for evidence or during inspections. Blue light is useful in special industrial or forensic applications. All colours are available as continuous light or as flashing light (signal mode).

Flexibility and intuitive operation

Thanks to the PETZL HYBRID CONCEPT, you have the choice: operate the lamp with the supplied AAA batteries or upgrade to the separately available PETZL CORE rechargeable battery. The lamp automatically recognises the energy source and adjusts the power. A single switch controls all functions, a LOCK function prevents unintentional switching on during transport and a battery level indicator warns you in good time before the next change.

What is the difference between the ARIA 2 RGB and the ACTIK series?

The main difference is the robustness. With IP67 (dust and waterproof) and IK07 (impact-resistant), the ARIA 2 RGB is much more resistant than the ACTIK series (IPX4, splash-proof). The ARIA 2 RGB also offers not only red, but also green and blue light.

What are green and blue light needed for?

Green light is often used by hunters or anglers as it scares game less and emphasises contrasts in nature. Blue light is used in certain industrial inspections, in forensics or to visualise liquids (e.g. blood or hydraulic oil).

Is the CORE battery included in the scope of delivery?

No, three AAA batteries are included with this model to ensure immediate readiness for use. The PETZL CORE rechargeable battery is available as a separate accessory and enables rechargeable operation of the lamp.

What does the IP67 protection rating mean?

IP67 means that the headlamp is completely dustproof (number 6) and protected against temporary immersion in water (up to 1 metre deep for a maximum of 30 minutes) (number 7).
