The Flexible HYBRID CONCEPT

At the heart of the ACTIK CORE is PETZL's innovative HYBRID CONCEPT. This headlamp is supplied with the PETZL CORE lithium-ion battery. This battery is simply charged via the integrated Micro-USB port directly in the headlamp and offers an economical and sustainable energy solution for frequent use. If the battery runs out and recharging is not possible, you can also use three standard AAA batteries as a replacement.

Intuitive Operation and Safety

The ACTIK CORE is operated using a single, ergonomic switch that is easy to use even when wearing gloves. A LOCK function prevents accidental activation of the headlamp during transport in a backpack or toolbox. What is the difference between the ACTIK and the ACTIK CORE?

The main difference is in the contents. The "ACTIK CORE" model (this model) comes with the rechargeable PETZL CORE battery included. The standard "ACTIK" model is supplied with three AAA batteries but can be retrofitted with the CORE battery.

Can I still use normal batteries?

Yes. Thanks to the HYBRID CONCEPT, you can remove the supplied CORE battery and use the headlamp with three standard AAA/LR03 batteries instead. This gives you maximum flexibility when no charging option is available.

What is the red light used for?

The red light serves to preserve night vision. It is less dazzling for others in a group and is ideal for use in camps, in huts or for night-time work where night vision needs to be retained.

What does IPX4 mean?

IPX4 means that the headlamp is protected against splashing water from all directions. It can be used in the rain or damp environments without any problems, but is not suitable for immersion in water (diving).
