NITECORE TIKI LE – 300-lumen mini signal torch (red & blue + white light)
Product information
The NITECORE TIKI LE (Law Enforcement Edition) is the tactical counterpart to the popular TIKI keyring torch. Whilst the standard version focuses on everyday practicality (reading light/UV), the LE version is uncompromisingly geared towards safety and signalling effectiveness. It combines an extremely bright 300-lumen main light with two side red and blue LEDs.
This colour combination makes for an eye-catching "Police Warning" flashing light, which is ideal for emergency services, security personnel or as an emergency signal in road traffic. The lamp head on this model is made of robust, black-anodised aluminium (rather than stainless steel), which improves heat dissipation and gives it a visually unobtrusive, tactical appearance. With just 10.5 grams In terms of weight, it is perhaps the lightest professional signal light in the world.
Key features at a glance
- Enormous brightness: In turbo mode, the OSRAM P8 main LED delivers up to 300 lumens and shines 71 metres – impressive for a torch of this size.
- Tactical signal colours: The additional side LEDs light up in Red and blueThey can be switched on separately or flash in the eye-catching alternating mode (police warning light).
- Ultra-lightweight design: Weighing just around 10.5 g, you’ll hardly notice the torch on your key ring.
- Robust construction: The aluminium alloy head ensures stability and cooling, whilst the body, made from PC V0 plastic, is extremely shatter-resistant.
- Built-in battery: The built-in 130 mAh Li-ion battery eliminates the need for battery changes and provides up to 40 hours of light (in ultra-low mode).
- Easy recharging: Via the micro-USB port on the side, the torch is fully operational again in approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes (it can even be used whilst charging).
- Safety features: APC technology (Advanced Power Cut-Off) prevents the battery from self-discharging during long periods of storage (standby for up to 365 days).
Areas of application
The TIKI LE is designed specifically for safety and visibility:
- Police & Security: As a backup light for checking documents (white) or as a warning light on a vest or key ring (red/blue).
- Joggers & cyclists: The red-and-blue flashing is extremely noticeable in road traffic and greatly enhances passive safety.
- Emergency signal: In the event of a breakdown or an accident, the alternating flashing light serves as an emergency signal visible from a great distance.
- EDC (Everyday Carry): It can, of course, also be used as a normal, extremely bright torch for everyday use.
Installation & Safety Instructions
- Operation (single button):
- Double-click: Switching on the main light (white).
- Triple-click: Switching on the signal LEDs (sequence: red -> blue -> red/blue flashing).

FAQs about the NITECORE TIKI LE
What is the difference compared to the standard TIKI?
The TIKI LE (this model) has a black aluminium head and the additional colours Red & Blue. The Standard TIKI has a silver stainless steel head and the additional colours UV & High CRI White. Technically (brightness, battery, size), both are identical.
Can I attach the light to my rucksack?
Yes. At the rear end there is a very sturdy eyelet that can withstand up to 30 kg of tensile force. With a small carabiner or key ring, the torch can be secured almost anywhere.
How long does the battery last in flashing mode?
The alternating red and blue flashing uses very little energy. In this signalling mode, the small battery lasts for several hours – considerably longer than the bright main light in high mode.
