Nitecore HC65 UHE headlamp 2000 lumen with 3 light sources
Description
Product information
The Nitecore HC65 UHE marks a milestone in the development of professional headlamps. It is the first model to utilise the revolutionary UHE (Ultra High Efficiency) LED technology. With an 8-core matrix optic, it achieves an impressive output of 2000 lumens and a light range of 222 metres, while at the same time increasing energy efficiency. Equipped with three different light sources (main light, high CRI white light, red light) and a powerful 4000 mAh battery, it is the ultimate tool for industry, emergency services and demanding outdoor applications.
Highlights at a glance
- UHE technology: 8-core matrix optics for maximum efficiency and 2000 lumens of luminosity.
- 3 light sources: Primary white light, high-CRI close-range light and additional red light.
- Massive endurance: Includes 4000 mAh high-performance rechargeable battery for extended runtimes.
- Fast charging: Integrated USB-C charging port with fast charging function (approx. 2 hours).
- Extremely robust: IP68 certified (2m waterproof) and shockproof for tough use.
- Convenient operation: Two-button interface for intuitive control of all modes.
Revolutionary UHE matrix optics
The centrepiece of the HC65 UHE is the newly developed "Ultra High Efficiency" LED matrix. Instead of a single point light source, 8 LED cores are used here, which are focussed by a precisely manufactured matrix lens. This ensures optimised light transmission and significantly higher efficiency compared to conventional reflectors. The result is a brighter, cleaner light image with lower energy consumption.
Versatility thanks to three light sources
The HC65 UHE covers every application scenario. The Primary white light (6000K) offers enormous range for orientation in the field. The High-CRI additional light (CRI>90, 4500K) provides true-to-life colour rendering at close range, ideal for electrical work, map reading or medical first aid. The Red light maintains night vision, is suitable for signalling and does not attract insects.
Maximum energy and robustness
The scope of delivery includes the new Nitecore NL1840HP rechargeable battery, which at 4000 mAh offers a significantly higher capacity than conventional 18650 rechargeable batteries (usually 3400-3500 mAh). This extends the operating time considerably. The aerospace aluminium housing is IP68-certified, dustproof and waterproof to 2 metres. A sophisticated protection mechanism on the USB-C port prevents damage from external influences.

FAQs about the Nitecore HC65 UHE
What does "UHE" mean and what advantage does it offer?
UHE stands for "Ultra High Efficiency". It is a technology developed by Nitecore that arranges several LED cores in a matrix. This improves efficiency (lumens per watt) and enables a more compact design with higher light output compared to standard LEDs.
Is the battery replaceable?
Yes, the supplied NL1840HP is an 18650 lithium-ion battery that can be replaced if necessary. Due to the high power requirement of the lamp (2000 lumens), we recommend using Nitecore high-current rechargeable batteries (HP series) with at least 8A discharge current.
What do I need the high-CRI light for?
"CRI" stands for Colour Rendering Index (colour rendering index). The HC65 UHE's high CRI light makes colours appear very natural (similar to sunlight). This is essential for work where colours need to be differentiated, e.g. when wiring control cabinets or examining wounds.
How long does it take to charge?
Thanks to the modern charging electronics and the USB-C connection, the large 4000 mAh battery can be charged from almost empty to full in just approx. 2 hours (when using a corresponding 5V/2A power adapter).
