The TK16 V2.0 was designed for situations where split seconds matter. The large tactical main switch at the end of the torch is used for switching on/off and for momentary light. The smaller function switch next to it enables instant access to strobe mode (even when the torch is off) or the selection of brightness levels. Thanks to APF technology, this control system works absolutely reliably and is immune to electronic interference.

Maximum power with 21700 battery

To enable the output of 3100 lumens, the TK16 V2.0 relies on a modern 21700 Li-Ion battery (Fenix ARB-L21-5000U). This is included in the scope of delivery and has an integrated USB-C charging port. This means you can charge the battery directly using a cable, without needing to carry a separate charger. The torch itself has no charging port, which maximises its waterproofness and robustness.

Robustness for tough everyday duty

The workmanship of the TK16 V2.0 is designed for extreme stress. The housing is IP68 certified (waterproof and dustproof). A special feature is the "strike bezel" (the crown at the torch head): Three balls made of tungsten steel are embedded in the stainless steel bezel, which can serve as effective glass breakers.

What is the APF system?

APF stands for "Advanced Pulse-Frequency Transmission System". It is a technology developed by Fenix which makes it possible to route complex control signals of the double switch via a single path. This makes the torch more compact and less susceptible to interference compared to conventional mechanical double switches.

How is the torch charged?

The torch itself does not have a charging port, in order to maximise structural integrity and waterproofness. However, the supplied battery (ARB-L21-5000U) has a USB-C socket integrated. You remove the battery and charge it directly using the supplied cable.

Can I also use 18650 batteries?

The torch is optimised for 21700 batteries. Using an 18650 battery is only possible with the separately available battery holder Fenix ALF-18. However, due to the lower performance of 18650 cells, the maximum brightness of 3100 lumens may not be achieved or only reached briefly.

Does the torch have a memory function?

Yes, the torch stores the last brightness level used (except strobe) and recalls it the next time it is switched on via the main switch. The strobe mode can always be activated immediately via the function switch.
