Maximum flexibility through dual power

The Fenix LD22 V2.0 offers you absolute independence. In everyday use you use the supplied ARB-L14-1100U battery pack, which is conveniently charged directly on the battery via USB-C cable and delivers the full power of 800 lumens. If you run out of power on the road and there is no charging option, you can simply insert two AA batteries (alkaline) or NiMH batteries (max. 350 lumens), which are available anywhere. This guarantees readiness for use in any situation.

Intuitive and tactical operating concept

The torch has two switches for optimum control. The tactical tail switch enables switching on and off as well as momentary light for short signals. The side switch on the lamp head allows you to conveniently select between five brightness levels and the special Strobe and SOS functions. An intelligent memory function stores the last used brightness (except Strobe/SOS).

Robustness and durability

The housing made of high-quality A6061-T6 aluminium with a stainless steel bezel is extremely resistant to shocks and corrosion. Thanks to IP68 certification, the LD22 V2.0 is completely protected against dust and can even withstand temporary immersion in water. The removable "two-way clip" allows flexible attachment of the torch to a belt, rucksack, or cap.

FAQs for the Fenix LD22 V2.0

How is the supplied battery charged?

The battery (type ARB-L14-1100U) has its own USB-C port directly on the battery housing. To charge, the battery must be removed from the torch and connected to a USB power source with the supplied USB-C cable. The lamp itself does not have a charging port.

Can I achieve 800 lumens with normal AA batteries?

No. The maximum output of 800 lumens is only achieved with the supplied Li-Ion battery pack. When using two AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH), the maximum brightness is 350 lumens for technical reasons, which is still absolutely sufficient for most applications.

What is the difference to the old LD22 (V1.0)?

Version 2.0 is significantly more powerful (800 vs. 300 lumens), more compact and now comes as standard with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, but retains the popular AA compatibility. The design has also been modernised and made more robust (stainless steel bezel).

Does the torch have overheat protection?

Yes, the LD22 V2.0 has intelligent overheat protection (IOP). If the torch becomes too hot in turbo mode (from 60°C), it automatically reduces the brightness slightly to protect the electronics and battery. As soon as it has cooled down, full power is available again.
