Assembly & Safety Instructions

• Eye protection (Laser & UV): Never shine the light directly into the eyes of people or animals! Neither the red laser pointer nor the invisible UV light are toys and can cause severe retinal damage when shone directly into the eyes.
• Heat development: In turbo mode (700 lumens) the tiny LEDs generate enormous heat. The housing dissipates this heat and can become hot. If excessive heat develops, the lamp automatically reduces its output to protect you.
• Switch-on protection (Lockout): Be sure to use the electronic key lock if you carry the torch in your tight trouser pocket. This prevents accidental switching on, which could cause heat build-up or unwanted battery discharge.
• Battery care: To maximise the service life of the permanently installed Li-Po battery, it's best to recharge it when it still holds around 30% charge remaining and avoid deep discharge.

Can I replace the battery myself if it gets weaker after a few years?

No. The 750 mAh Li-Po battery is permanently integrated in the CNC-milled unibody housing to ensure the extremely compact size and high water resistance (IP66). Replacement by the end user is not intended.

Is the torch completely waterproof?

Yes, according to protection rating IP66. This means the lamp is completely dustproof and protected against strong water jets (e.g. heavy rain). However, it should not be permanently immersed in water (not a diving lamp!).

How powerful is the laser pointer?

The integrated red laser belongs to the perfectly safe device class (≤ 0.39 mW). It is perfectly adequate for being clearly visible in indoor presentations or for close-range markings, but does not pose an acute risk in the event of brief accidental contact (still do not shine in eyes!).
