How heavy is the system during installation?
The total system weighs over 160 kg. However, thanks to the modular design, you do not need to move the full weight at once. Each individual battery module (about 50 kg each) and the control unit are stacked one after the other at the installation site.
Is the storage suitable for outdoor use?
The housing has protection rating IP65, i.e. it is dust-tight and protected against water jets. Installation in a garage, carport or beneath a canopy is therefore possible. However, to maximise the life of the cells, we recommend a location protected from direct sunlight and extreme frost (e.g. cellar or utility room).
Can the system supply emergency power?
Yes, the Felicity high-voltage storage can provide high discharge power. In combination with an emergency power capable hybrid inverter (with grid switching), the system can continue to supply the home grid in the event of a power failure.
