The Felicity Solar FLH96050SMG01 is the central battery expansion module for the FLH96050SG01 high-voltage storage series. With a capacity of 5.12 kWh per unit, this module is designed to expand existing storage systems or to customise a new storage tower. Equipped with long-lasting LiFePO4 cells and an innovative plug-in system, it allows you to flexibly adapt the storage capacity to your growing energy needs – without the need for complex rewiring.

You can combine between 2 and 6 of these modules in a stack (depending on the BMS and inverter).

Safety and installation

Felicity Solar sets new standards in safety. Each individual module is fitted with sensors and a fire-suppression unit that reacts immediately in the event of critical faults. Installation is extremely simple: the module is placed on top of the existing tower (or base). Guide pins ensure a correct fit, and the electrical connection is established automatically. There is no need to screw any cables between the battery modules.
 

FAQs on the FLH96050SMG01 expansion module

Can I operate this module on its own?

No. The FLH96050SMG01 is only the battery storage module. To operate it, you must have the BMS control unit (Head Unit) and the socket, which are included in the FLH96050SG01 system’s basic package. You will also need at least two of these modules in a stack to achieve the minimum voltage required for most high-voltage inverters.

Can I expand my storage capacity at any time?

In principle, yes. However, it is advisable to carry out upgrades within the first few years following the initial installation. If new modules are added to very old modules, the difference in capacity (due to the natural ageing of the old modules) may slightly limit the tower’s overall performance, as the system is governed by its weakest link.

How heavy is a module?

A single module weighs approx. 53 kg. Two people or a suitable lifting aid are therefore recommended for installation (lifting onto the stack).

Is the module also compatible with Felicity’s low-voltage systems?

No. Felicity Solar also offers low-voltage storage systems (e.g. for 48V systems). This module is not suitable due to its voltage rating (approx. 100V) and connections exclusively Suitable for the high-voltage (HV) series.
