The maintenance-free Exide Marathon L12V32 is a 12 V AGM lead-acid battery from the Marathon L/XL series with a nominal capacity of 31.5 Ah (C10). This battery is characterised by a long service life of over 12 years (EUROBAT "Long Life"), a high power density and very low self-discharge. Thanks to its robust lead-calcium grid plates and AGM technology, it provides reliable energy for UPS systems, telecommunications, security lighting and other critical applications with medium bridging times.

Powerful 12 V performance for short to medium bridging
The L12V32 delivers reliable currents for power surges in UPS and TC applications. Typical constant current values (20 °C, final voltage per cell):
- 1.90 V/C: 10 min 50 A, 30 min 27 A, 1 h 17 A, 10 h 2.8 A
- 1.80 V/C: 10 min 70 A, 30 min 33 A, 1 h 20.2 A, 10 h 3.2 A
- Constant power example (1.90 V/C, 20 °C): 585 W (10 min), 318 W (30 min), 207 W (1 h).
The short-circuit current of 966 A and an internal resistance of 13 mΩ underline its high-current capability.
Long service life, high availability, low maintenance
AGM technology enables fast recharging and long waiting times in standby operation. The minimal gas development significantly reduces ventilation and maintenance requirements. Thanks to the low self-discharge, storage and standby times are extended, making this technology ideal for emergency power and safety systems.
VRLA/AGM with robust grid plate chemistry
The electrolyte is immobilised in glass fleece (AGM). The lead-calcium grid plates ensure high corrosion resistance. With an internal gas recombination rate of approx. 99%, maintenance is reduced to a minimum. Development is according to IEC 60896-21/-22, manufacturing in ISO 9001 certified European facilities. The blocks are UL certified.

Is there a flame-retardant version?
Yes, in addition to the standard PP housing (UL 94-HB), a UL 94-V0 variant is available.
What does “incl. MTZ” mean?
