Assembly & safety instructions

• Battery wiring
  • Due to the 48 V technology and currents up to 190 A, large cable cross-sections (e.g. 2x 50 mm² or 70 mm²) and a high-quality DC fuse are absolutely essential.
• Ventilation
  • The unit features active fan cooling. Install the inverter in a cool, well-ventilated area and maintain the specified minimum clearances.
• Phase balancing
  • For use in a 3-phase grid (e.g. Germany) a smart meter is required at the grid feed-in point, to mathematically balance the consumption of all phases.

Can I operate a heat pump with this unit?

Yes, easily. Thanks to the high output power of 8 kW and the smart load function, the inverter can be configured so that it preferentially supplies the heat pump with surplus solar energy.

Is operation possible without a battery?

Yes, the unit will also start without storage. The inverter can be used as a pure PV inverter. A 48 V storage can be added later at any time via plug-and-play to increase self-consumption.

Does the unit support zero feed-in?
