Do I need external NA protection from 50 kW?
No. The inverter has an integrated anti-islanding circuit and complies with all relevant standards such as VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549 and G99. Additional NA protection is therefore not required.
Which high-voltage batteries are approved?
Officially compatible are, among others, BYD HVS/HVM, Pylontech Force H1/H2, Dyness Tower and the Deye GB-L series. Communication is via CAN or RS485 depending on the model. The appropriate setup number is entered directly in the “Battery → Lithium → Setup Number” menu or set via DIP switches. Other storage solutions such as BOS-G are already preconfigured according to the supplier.
How much kWp can I connect without clipping?
According to the data sheet, the maximum DC input power is 65 000 W. In practice, a generator size of 60 to 65 kWp is considered optimal. Only above this threshold can minor clipping losses occur on a few high-load days, which remain below two per cent over the year. However, it is recommended to stay below 65 kW. The starting voltage of the solar modules is decisive here.
Can I connect several 50 kW units in parallel?
Yes. Up to ten inverters can be operated in parallel, both grid-connected and off-grid. One device takes over the master function including CT sensor connection, the remaining units automatically follow in the group.
Do I need special ventilation?
Active climate control is not required. The inverter operates with intelligent air cooling and is designed for ambient temperatures up to 60 °C. The maximum noise level is 65 dB(A) at full load, in standby mode the unit is almost silent. Good air circulation is important, for example in a ventilated plant room or at a sheltered outdoor location. The fan inlets and outlets must remain clear, otherwise charging problems may occur.
