Deye SUN-10K-SG01HP3-EU-DM2 – 10 kW high-voltage hybrid inverter
Description
Product information
The Deye SUN-10K-SG01HP3-EU-DM2 is a powerful, three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverter that serves as the heart of modern photovoltaic systems in detached houses. With an AC output power of 10 kW it enables highly efficient energy use through the combination of solar power generation, intelligent battery charging and a reliable emergency power supply.
This model of the SG01 series is specifically optimised for operation with high-voltage battery storage. The higher system voltage minimises conversion losses, which increases the overall efficiency of your system. Whether you want to optimise self-consumption, achieve zero feed-in or run in off-grid mode – this inverter offers the right solution for every scenario.
Highlights at a glance
- High-voltage battery support: Compatible with storage systems in the range of 160 V to 700 V, which ensures maximum efficiency during charging and discharging.
- 100% unbalanced load capability: Each of the three phases can be loaded independently with up to 100% of the rated output—ideal for uneven household consumption.
- 2 MPPT trackers: Enables flexible design of two module strings for optimal yields even with different roof pitches or partial shading.
- UPS function (backup): Guarantees an uninterrupted power supply in case of grid failure with an extremely fast switchover time of less than 10 ms.
- Smart Load & AC coupling: Intelligent output for controllable loads (e.g. heat pump) and the option to integrate existing PV inverters into the system.
- Colour touch display: Simple configuration and visualisation of all performance data directly on the device through a user-friendly interface.
- Parallel operation: Supports parallel operation of up to 10 units to scale the system capacity as needed in the future.
Areas of application
The SUN-10K is the all-rounder for the modern home:
- Detached houses with storage
- Perfectly matched to high-voltage batteries such as the Deye BOS-A series or Pylontech Force H2 to maximise the degree of self-sufficiency.
- Emergency power backup
- Reliably protects important household devices such as heating pumps, refrigerators and lighting against power failures.
- Sector coupling
- Intelligent control of wallboxes or hot water heating elements via the Smart Load contact when there is a solar surplus.
Installation & safety notes
- Battery compatibility
- Ensure that only certified high-voltage storage units are connected. Communication is via the BMS port (CAN/RS485).
- Heat dissipation
- Install the device in a cool, well-ventilated location. Although it is IP65-certified, installing it in a location protected from direct sunlight will extend the life of the components.
- Protective devices
- The system features integrated DC disconnect switches and a Type II DC surge protector to protect the installation against lightning damage and faults.

FAQs on the Deye SUN-10K-SG01HP3
Can I operate this inverter with 48V batteries?
No.
- This model is a high-voltage hybrid (HP3). For 48V low-voltage storage, you need the LP3 series from Deye. Operating with the wrong battery voltage can cause damage.
Do I need a separate smart meter for zero feed-in?
Generally no.
- Deye usually supplies the appropriate 3-phase smart meter (e.g. Eastron) directly with these hybrid models so the inverter can record the household consumption at the grid connection point.
Is the Wi-Fi module included?
Yes.
- A Wi-Fi dongle for integration into the Solarman app or the Deye Cloud Portal is included as standard to enable global monitoring of the system.
Can the inverter control a heat pump?
Yes.
- Via the programmable Smart Load output, a signal can be sent to the heat pump (SG-Ready) to store thermal energy when there is sufficient solar output or the battery is full.
