  • Yes. The system has a modular design. To increase the total capacity, several of these cabinet units can be connected in parallel, enabling storage capacities in the megawatt range to be achieved.

These include VDE-AR-N 4105 for Germany, EN 50549 for the EU, and CEI 0-21 for Italy, among others. As a rule, no additional NA protection is necessary once the correct country profile has been activated.Which high-voltage storage solutions are compatible and how do I set the BMS correctly?The approved storage solutions include BYD HVS and HVM, Pylontech Force H1 and H2, Dyness Tower, and the Deye GB-L Series, among others. Each storage is assigned a specific setup number, which is selected in the menu “Battery → Lithium → Setup Number”. Alternatively, the same number can be set using the DIP switches on the battery. The Deye SE-F12 uses standard communication protocols (CAN/RS485) and can often also be operated with compatible third-party brands. However, the correct BMS protocol on the battery must be configured manually (via software or DIP switch). There is no support for this third-party use during setup from the manufacturer or retailer. A functioning system can only be guaranteed with the Deye own brand. Please compare the compatibility list in advance.What happens in the event of a power cut in the house?If you combine the SE-F12 with a hybrid inverter capable of emergency power supply (such as the Deye SG04 series), the system switches to battery operation within milliseconds in the event of a grid failure. Thanks to the high discharge power (up to 11.5 kW from just one battery), you can continue to supply even large 3-phase loads in the house grid without problems.Why do some shops list "SE-F12-C"?The suffix "-C" generally denotes the latest model revision (often the EU version), which is equipped with an integrated LCD display on the front of the housing.
