Marking escape routes directly on the ceiling: the ‘ Beltrona ’ M21-30 CM
The Beltrona M21-30 CM is an LED emergency exit sign designed for direct ceiling mounting. It marks escape and emergency routes with a visibility range of 30 metres. The slim housing is fixed to the ceiling, with the light panel suspended below it. This ensures the emergency exit sign is clearly visible from both directions along the escape route, for example in corridors, stairwells, office and administrative buildings, schools, medical practices or retail premises.
The silver aluminium housing (RAL 9006) blends discreetly into modern ceiling designs. The 6 mm-thick diffuser is evenly illuminated by 6500 K LEDs. The luminance can be selected between 500 cd/m² and 50 cd/m².
Reliable in an emergency
The luminaire operates either in continuous or standby mode. If the mains supply fails, the integrated LiFePO4 battery (3.2 V / 1.5 Ah) takes over the power supply. The emergency operating time can be set to 1, 2, 3 or 8 hours and thus adapted to the building’s requirements. Depending on the version, the functional test is carried out manually (MT) or automatically (AT).
Pictograms and accessories
Suitable pictograms in accordance with ISO 7010 (E001/E002) are available for all escape directions, as well as a white insert. If the luminaire is to be hung lower at a later date, it can be upgraded with a chain suspension (M21CH) or a pendant/rod suspension (M21PL) from the range.
