TROT1275
Trojan T-1275 Deep-Cycle lead-acid battery 12V 150Ah

The Trojan T-1275 is a high-performance and low-maintenance 12-volt wet battery, specially developed for the extreme demands of rigorous deep-cycle use. As part of Trojan's renowned Signature Line, the world’s leading manufacturer of cycle-resistant batteries, it offers exceptional service life and reliability. With its high capacity of 150 Ah, it is the ideal energy source for solar systems, marine applications, work platforms and other demanding supply systems.Highlights at a glanceHigh 12V capacity: Offers maximum endurance and long runtimes with 150 Ah for demanding 12V systems or large battery storage banks.Maximum cycle resistance: Designed for repeated, deep discharge and charge cycles in the toughest commercial and private use.Robust Trojan construction: Advanced T2 Technology® design with DuraGrid™ grid technology for longer service life and higher efficiency.Embedded Low Profile Terminal: Flat, recessed terminals for space-saving installation and increased safety.Low maintenance: Only requires regular checks of the water level to ensure maximum service life.Unrivalled performance for demanding applicationsThe Trojan T-1275 is the first choice for applications where a high energy reserve and maximum cycle resistance are crucial. Its primary area of use is in the storage of renewable energy in off-grid or grid-coupled solar and wind power systems. It is also the perfect supply battery (house battery) for boats and motorhomes, as well as a powerful drive battery for large electric lifting and work platforms or industrial cleaning machines.Superior deep-cycle technologyTrojan batteries have been the industry standard for true deep-cycle performance for decades. The exclusive T2 Technology® with the Alpha Plus® paste formulation ensures maximum electrochemical efficiency and slows down the ageing process of the active material. The DuraGrid™ grid architecture provides superior corrosion resistance and improved current conduction, resulting in higher overall performance and a longer battery service life.Built for longevity and efficiencyThe construction of the T-1275 is designed for maximum robustness and easy maintenance. The impact-resistant polypropylene case withstands the stresses of everyday use. The low-maintenance concept requires only regular inspection and, if necessary, refilling with distilled water to maintain the full capacity and service life of the battery for many years. This makes it a highly economical solution for demanding energy storage systems. Characteristics  ModelTrojan T-1275 TechnologyLead-acid (wet battery) Nominal voltage (V)12 Capacity (Ah)150 (20h rate) Dimensions (L x W x H in mm)329 x 181 x 272 ConnectionUT (Universal Terminal) Weight (kg)approx. 37.0  FAQs about the Trojan T-1275 Deep-Cycle BatteryWhat does "deep cycle" mean?"Deep cycle" means that the battery is designed to regularly supply a large part (up to 80%) of its stored energy and then be fully recharged without quickly losing capacity. This is crucial for supply applications, as opposed to starter batteries. What is the advantage of the "Embedded Low Profile Terminal" (ELPT)?This recessed, flat terminal offers a very secure and compact connection option, often using a screwed ring terminal. The low overall height is advantageous for installations with limited height and reduces the risk of accidental short circuits from tools or other metallic objects. What does "low maintenance" mean?As a low-maintenance wet battery, the liquid level (electrolyte) in the cells must be checked regularly and, if necessary, refilled exclusively with distilled water. Proper maintenance is crucial to achieve the maximum service life. Automatic water refill systems are available as an option for larger installations. How are multiple batteries connected into a system? To increase capacity, multiple 12V batteries can be connected in parallel. For a higher system voltage (e.g. 24V or 48V for solar systems) several of these 12V batteries are connected in series. It is essential that only batteries of the same type, age, and condition are connected together. How should this lead battery be disposed of?Lead batteries contain environmentally harmful substances and may not be disposed of with household waste. You can return your old battery free of charge to any retailer selling new batteries or to municipal recycling centres to ensure proper recycling.
