What does "industrial design" mean?

The "industrial design" is supplied as bulk goods in packaging units suitable for industry and is aimed at commercial customers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) who install the cells directly in devices or assemble them into battery packs (welding them together). It is not available in end consumer packaging.

What does "Flat Top" (FT) mean?

"Flat Top" means that the positive terminal of the cell is flat and does not, as is usual with household batteries, have a raised "nipple". This design is specifically intended for industrial assembly, as it facilitates the direct welding of the cells into a battery pack.

Which charger should I use to charge these batteries?

To achieve maximum lifespan and performance, it is recommended to use a high-quality, microprocessor-controlled charger that gently ends the charging process (e.g. via negative delta U cut-off) and is designed for the high charging current that this cell can handle.

How must this battery be disposed of?

Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. As an industrial used battery, it is subject to the provisions of the Battery Act.
