The Olight Prowess is an innovative torch that follows a completely new concept: it is a bi-directional lamp. This means it does not only shine forwards like a conventional torch, but can also shine "backwards" to act as a 360-degree lantern. With a maximum output of 5000 lumens and a unique operating concept, it is aimed at users looking for a powerful torch for outdoors and, at the same time, for atmospheric room or tent lighting.

One lamp, two worlds
The Prowess solves the problem that when camping you often need two devices: a torch for walking and a lantern for the table. The Prowess combines both in a very futuristic, grippy design. Especially the "Reverse Light" (rear light) is unique: The light does not come out at the front, but is emitted through slits in the body, which creates glare-free ambient lighting.

FAQs about the Olight Prowess
How do I switch between front and rear?
This is done via the large toggle switch on the top.
- Switch up: Activates the front light (torch).
- Switch down: Activates the rear light (lantern).
- Rotate: Stepless brightness adjustment.
- Press: On/off.
Can I use regular 21700 batteries?
No. As with most high-end Olight lamps, it uses a modified 21700 battery (both poles at the front), which is necessary for magnetic charging and high currents. Standard batteries will not work.
Is the lamp magnetic?
Yes, the end cap is magnetic. You can therefore fix the Prowess (upside down) to bonnets or steel beams to use it as a work light. The magnet also secures the lamp in the supplied charging tray.
What is the advantage of the included base?
The base acts as a "docking station". You can mount the base on the wall or place it on the table. The base is connected via USB-C. When you place the lamp in the base, it charges. This is more practical than looking for the magnetic cable every time.
