The Olight O'Pen Glow is an innovative multifunctional pen that revolutionises the classic penlight by combining four functions in one elegant aluminium housing: writing, lighting (clip), presenting (laser) and discreet note-taking (tip). It features a rechargeable battery and is charged via a special charging station. FAQs about the Olight O'Pen Glow
Which refills fit the pen?
The pen uses special Olight RF-OL182X refills. Due to the design with the tip LED, standard refills (like Parker G2) are often not compatible or may need modification. It’s recommended to use Olight original refills so as not to impair the tip illumination function.
Can I charge the pen without the base?
No. The pen itself no longer has a USB port (unlike its predecessor O'Pen 2). It has contacts on the tip and housing. The supplied charging base is required to charge. Do not lose it!
How do I activate the laser?
The laser is operated via the bolt-action switch (the lever to extend the refill). Push the lever up and hold it there to activate the laser. This prevents the laser from remaining switched on and draining the battery.
Is the battery replaceable?
No, the 110 mAh lithium-polymer battery is permanently built into the top section of the pen and cannot be replaced by the user.
