The Felicity Solar FLH96050SMG01 is the central battery expansion module for the high-voltage storage series FLH96050SG01. With a capacity of 5.12 kWh per unit, this module is used to enlarge existing storage systems or to individually configure a new storage tower. Equipped with durable LiFePO4 cells and an innovative plug-in system, it enables a flexible adjustment of storage capacity to your growing energy demand – without elaborate rewiring.

You can combine between 2 and 6 of these modules in a tower (depending on BMS and inverter).

Safety and installation

Felicity Solar sets new standards in safety. Each individual module has sensors and an extinguishing unit that reacts instantly in the event of critical faults. Installation is extremely simple: the module is placed on the existing tower (or base). Guide pins ensure the correct fit, and the electrical connection is established automatically. No cables have to be screwed between the battery modules.

FAQs on the FLH96050SMG01 expansion module

Can I operate this module individually?

No. The FLH96050SMG01 is only the battery storage module. For operation you necessarily need the BMS control unit (head unit) and the base, which are included in the basic package of the FLH96050SG01 system. Additionally, you need at least two of these modules in a tower to reach the minimum voltage for most high-voltage inverters.

Can I expand my storage at any time?

Basically yes. However, it is recommended to carry out expansions within the first years after initial installation. If new modules are added to very old modules, the difference in capacity (due to the natural ageing of the old modules) can slightly limit the overall performance of the tower, as the system is oriented towards the weakest link.

How heavy is a module?

A single module weighs approx. 53 kg. For assembly (lifting onto the stack), two people or a suitable lifting aid are therefore recommended.

Does the module also fit Felicity low-voltage systems?

No. Felicity Solar also offers low-voltage storage (e.g. for 48V systems). Due to its voltage (approx. 100V) and connections, this module is exclusively suitable for the high-voltage (HV) series.
