The Deye SUN-10K-SG02LP1-EU-AM3-P is an extremely powerful, single-phase hybrid inverter of the latest generation, specially developed for demanding low-voltage photovoltaic systems. With a rated output power of 10 kW it is one of the most powerful single-phase devices on the market and enables significant optimisation of self-consumption as well as an uninterrupted emergency power supply for large single-phase domestic grids or specific load groups.

The abbreviation "P" stands for the support of high-current PV modules, which allows the connection of modern panels with high currents (up to 26 A per MPPT). It works with 48 V low-voltage batteries together and offers an excellent performance with its high charging and discharging capacity of up to 220 A for the management of large battery storages.

Installation & Safety instructions

  • High battery currents
    • With a discharge current of up to 220 A, it is essential to use massive cable cross-sections (e.g. 2x 50 mm² or 70 mm²) and corresponding high-current fuses.
  • Thermal management
    • Despite its high efficiency, there is heat dissipation at 10 kW output. Ensure a mounting location with good air circulation and keep to the minimum distances.
  • Phase coupling in the home
    • When installing in a German 3-phase grid, please observe the unbalanced load regulation (max. 4.6 kVA phase difference to the grid), unless a phase-balancing measurement or a zero feed-in setup is used.

Can I supply a 3-phase house with this single-phase device?

Yes, by using net metering. The inverter feeds into one phase. A smart meter installed at the grid connection point ensures that the consumption of the other two phases is arithmetically balanced (net metering), so that the electricity meter effectively remains at zero.

How many batteries can I connect?

Virtually unlimited. Thanks to the 48 V system, many battery modules can be connected in parallel. The inverter communicates via CAN or RS485 with the master battery management system (BMS).

Is the device suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, thanks to IP65. The housing is dustproof and protected against water jets. Nevertheless, it is recommended to install it in a shaded place to extend the service life of the electronics by reducing thermal stress.
