Efficient energy storage for modern requirements

The BOS-G 50 PRO impresses with a nominal voltage of approx. 512 volts and an operating voltage range of around 440 to 585 volts. The lithium iron phosphate cells used offer a high level of safety, low self-discharge and optimum performance in daily operation. The robust construction and modular system design allow easy adaptation to different application scenarios.

Flexible and future-proof architecture

Thanks to its modular design, the system can be expanded as required. Up to 16 battery racks can be operated in parallel. In addition, AC parallel operation of up to 10 Deye inverters is possible. This flexibility makes the storage set particularly attractive for growing energy systems.

Intelligent battery management

The integrated BMS monitors and controls the battery units in real time. It reliably protects against overcurrent, overvoltage and undervoltage as well as extreme temperatures. The system automatically balances voltages, ensuring long-lasting, safe and stable operation.

What is the total capacity and how much electricity can I use effectively?

The system consists of 10 LiFePO₄ modules each with 5.12 kWh, giving a total gross capacity of 51.2 kWh. Due to the recommended depth of discharge (DoD) of 90%, around 46.1 kWh of usable net energy is available

What safety functions does the integrated BMS offer?

The intelligent battery management system (BMS) continuously monitors voltage, current and temperature. It reliably protects against:

  • Overvoltage and undervoltage
  • Overcurrent and short circuit
  • Over and under temperature

It also ensures cell balancing and optimises charging and discharging processes.

What are the requirements for the installation environment?

The Deye BOS-G 50 high-voltage storage system is suitable only for dry indoor areas (protection class IP20). In addition, a fire-resistant room with T60 classification is required in the EU, including fire-resistant doors/windows and, if necessary, a fire alarm system.

Which inverters are compatible?

The set includes the BOS-G-PDU-2 high-voltage cluster control box (200–1000 V DC, up to 100 A). Officially compatible with Deye SUN hybrid inverters, e.g. SUN-30K/35K/40K/50K. Firmware updates are also possible via USB or Wi-Fi

Can the system be expanded in a modular way?

Yes, the BOS-G-PRO series is modular in design. Several systems can be operated in parallel. Deye allows technical expansion up to 16 battery cabinets and up to 10 inverters in the AC network.

System composition

  • This product is a set and consists of a rack cabinet and the individual plug-in modules (BMS and batteries).

Component 1: Deye rack system / battery cabinet

  • A cabinet for housing the BMS unit and the battery modules, often with castors and feet.

Component 2: Deye control box / BMS plug-in module

  • The central control unit (BMS/BCCB), which is inserted as a module into the rack cabinet.

Components 3 to 12: Ten Deye BOS-G-PRO-Pack5.1 high-voltage battery plug-in modules (each 5.12 kWh)

  • Ten pure high-voltage battery modules, which are also inserted into the rack cabinet.

1 x set of battery connection cables (plus & minus)

  • A pair of special high-voltage power cables to connect the BMS module to a compatible high-voltage hybrid inverter.

1 x communication cable (CAN/RS485)

  • A long data cable for communication between the BMS module and the inverter.

10 x connection bridge / series connection cable

  • Short, robust cables or fixed bridges to connect the eleven plug-in modules (BMS + 10 batteries) in the rack.

1 x earthing cable

  • A protective earth cable for proper earthing of the rack system.

1 x mounting accessories (rack mounting)

  • Includes screws and rails for fastening the modules inside the rack as well as material for anchoring the cabinet to the floor.

1 x operating and installation manual

  • A printed manual describing the assembly of the entire rack system.
