HOYBC510M
Hoymiles Connection cable BC05 to Schuko (10 m) - For HMS series

The 10 metre Hoymiles BC05 to Schuko connection cable is the customised solution for the simple commissioning of modern Hoymiles HMS microinverters. While older series used the Betteri connector, the new HMS generation (e.g. HMS-800W-2T) uses the special "Field Connector" (BC05).This cable connects this special connector directly to your household socket. It eliminates the complicated assembly of AC trunk cables for single installations. The high-quality, 10-metre-long rubber hose cable (H07RN-F) is extremely resistant to weather influences and UV radiation, ensuring safe continuous operation of your balcony power plant outdoors.Highlights at a glancePerfect fit: Specially assembled for Hoymiles microinverters of the HMS series (e.g. HMS-600, HMS-800, HMS-1000) with the typical BC05 connector.Simple installation: Connects the inverter directly and without additional adapters to a standard outdoor Schuko socket ("Plug & Play").Long range: With 10 metres of length you can easily bridge distances from the balcony, garden fence or flat roof to the next outdoor socket.High-quality rubber cable: The heavy-duty rubber hose cable of type H07RN-F 3G1.5 mm² is extremely robust, oil-resistant and suitable for long-term outdoor use.High protection class: The BC05 plug on the inverter side is waterproof (IP68), while the Schuko plug is designed for sheltered outdoor areas (IP44).Standard-compliant manufacture: Professionally machine-pressed contacts ensure minimal contact resistance and maximum safety when feeding power.Areas of applicationThis cable is essential for owners of the current Hoymiles generation:Balcony power plants (HMS): For direct connection of an HMS-800-2T to the balcony socket.Garden installation: When the inverter is mounted on the module in the garden and the path to the patio socket needs to be bridged.Retrofit: Replacement of defective or too short original cables in existing HMS systems.Mounting & safety instructionsCheck connection: The BC05 plug must audibly latch onto the inverter to ensure watertightness.Risk of confusion: This cable does not fit the older Hoymiles HM series (these use the Betteri BC01 connector). Please check your inverter connector before purchase.Cable routing: When laying, ensure the cable is not pulled over sharp edges or crushed (e.g. through windows without lead-through).Schuko weather protection: While the BC05 plug is fully weatherproof, the Schuko plug should be inserted into a splash-proof outdoor socket that is ideally covered. Features Model / DesignationHoymiles HMS connection cable (10 m) Connector A (inverter)**Hoymiles BC05** (Field Connector / Female) Connector B (mains side)**Schuko plug** (Type F, IP44/IP65) CompatibilityHoymiles **HMS series** (e.g. HMS-600, 800, 1000, 1600, 2000) Cable specification**H07RN-F 3G1.5 mm²** (heavy-duty rubber cable) Rated voltage**230 V AC** Max. current-carrying capacity**16 A** Protection class (overall)**IP65** (connector) / IP44 (Schuko plug) ApprovalsVDE-tested, CE-compliant  FAQs about the Hoymiles BC05 cableDoes this cable fit my Hoymiles HM-600 or HM-800?No, definitely not. The HM series uses the "Betteri BC01" connector (identifiable by the wave-shaped housing). The HMS series offered here uses the "BC05" connector (smoother, more rectangular design). The connectors are not mechanically compatible. Can I shorten the cable if 10 metres is too long?Technically, this is possible, but you will lose the warranty and the tested safety of the assembled Schuko side. It is often better to safely stow the excess length in a neat loop (not too tightly wound because of induction). Is the cable suitable for 800 watt feed-in?Yes, absolutely. The cable has a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and is designed for currents of up to 16 amps (approx. 3680 watts). The continuous supply of 800 watts (approx. 3.5 amps) presents no thermal problem for this high-quality cable.

HOYHMS800W2T
Hoymiles Micro inverter HMS-800W-2T - 800W power for balcony power plants

The Hoymiles HMS-800W-2T is the powerful successor to the legendary HM series and sets new standards for modern balcony power plants. With a maximum output power of 800 watts this micro inverter gets the most out of your solar modules and is optimally prepared for the current legislation. The "2T" in the name stands for two independent MPPT trackers. This means you can connect two solar modules, which are controlled completely independently of each other. If one module is in the shade or has a different alignment, the second module still runs at full power. Compared to the previous series, the HMS-800W-2T uses the more stable Sub-1G radio technology (for greater range to DTU) and the new BC05 plug-in system.Highlights at a GlanceHigh output power (800 watts): Delivers a full 800 VA of power into the household grid, making it ideal for the maximum permissible feed-in limit of balcony power plants. Two independent MPPT trackers: Guarantees the maximum yield from each individual module, even with partial shading or different alignment (e.g. east/west).Stable Sub-1G communication: Offers a noticeably more stable and wider-reaching connection through walls when used with an (optional) DTU compared to conventional Wi-Fi.New connection system (BC05): Equipped with the proprietary Hoymiles "Field Connector" (BC05) for rapid and extremely watertight installation.Reactive power control: Complies with the VDE-AR-N 4105:2018-11 standard and supports grid stability by providing reactive power.Robust design (IP67): The fully sealed housing is dust- and waterproof and designed for decades of outdoor use in the harshest conditions.Flexible limiting: Using an optional DTU unit, the output can be temporarily restricted to 600 watts via app (S-Miles Cloud) if required.Areas of ApplicationThe HMS-800W-2T is the standard solution for:Balcony power plants (2 modules): The classic – two modules on the balcony railing for maximum self-sufficiency covering your electricity needs.Garages & Carports: Thanks to high protection class IP67 can be safely used on flat roofs.Garden sheds: Easy installation “Plug & Play” (with suitable Schuko cable).Shaded locations: Where a string inverter would fail, the HMS-800 still extracts energy thanks to single MPPT.Mounting & Safety InstructionsCable selection (Important!): The HMS-800W-2T uses the new BC05 connection (rectangular, flat). It is not compatible with the old Betteri BC01 cables from the HM series. When purchasing the connection cable, be sure to look for the note "for HMS series" or "BC05".Distance to the surface: Mount the inverter with at least 2 cm distance to the mounting surface (roof/wall) so that air can circulate behind the unit (passive cooling).Hot Spot: The metal housing acts as a heat sink and in summer at full load can become up to 80°C hot. This is normal, but avoid touching during operation.Earthing: The device is earthed via the AC connection. Additional grounding on the housing is possible, but not usually mandatory if a compliant Schuko/Wieland cable is used (observe local VDE standards). Features ModelHoymiles HMS-800W-2T Max. recommended PV power**320 W to 540 W+** (per module) Maximum output power**800 VA** (adjustable to 600 VA) MPPT number / inputs**2 MPPT** / 2 DC inputs Max.
